"It’s a new property, bedding was nice, room completely acceptable but I was stunned when the front desk clerk tried to charge me $50 for early check in. I had received an email that stated 3pm checkin, we arrived @ 3:42, checked in & then was informed I would be charged $50 for early checkin! I showed her the email & she stated it was wrong but would waive it this once…..ummm ok. Even if checkin was 4pm, it was already 3:50 by this time. Totally unacceptable. However, when the TV wouldn’t work in our room, the other front desk clerk was very helpful.
The staff was also allowing cars to park under the awning until the pouring rain stopped while at least 6 cars were waiting to check in.
Hotel has potential but staff needs to be properly trained."
