Good service and good food!

The service was fantastic! Our family checked in pretty late and they offered us a special treatment allowing us to order a quick dinner after working hours! Great restaurant in the hotel which is located in downtown area and very convenient for walking and going to anywhere.

It was not me staying in the Hotel, I did undergo an operation in the near by hospital and my wife was staying in the hotel. As useal, the stay in the hospital had to be extendet and the hotel had no problem with the dayly changes. Finally thestay in the hospital could not be calculated anymore and my wife checked out and the hotel allowed us to leave my car without additional cost there. Maybe next week my wife will check in again.

The hotel was perfect for our stay. No issues with the cleanliness of the place, top to bottom. Although on a main route, no issues with traffic noise. Breakfast was okay too.

The hotel is clean and the staff we encountered was friendly. The breakfast buffet looked sufficiently stocked for meat/dairy eaters. We, as Vegans, had limited options, but we are used to it. The service staff did offer Oar Milk, therefore I was able to drink a cappuccino, which was much appreciated! Parking was free and available in an underground garage and in front of the facility. The room had a good size (deluxe room reservation) and again, was clean. Shower water pressure was good, the bed was our only complaint during our stay. The mattress in our room was no longer good and, in our opinion, should be replaced. My wife called it “demonic”. Neither one of us had much sleep. Unfortunately, the main reason to stay at a hotel is to sleep away from home, I cannot provide the highest rating, however, the cleanliness, the facility itself and the friendliness of the staff deserves their credit.

Ich war dieses Mal schon zum 2.Mal da, es wieder absolut die beste Wahl für mich. Die Klimaanlage, im Zimmer, hat ihren Dienst auch absolut sehr zufriedenstellend erfüllt und die Nächte konntet man dadurch sehr gut schlafen, es waren teilweise Außentemperaturen deutlich jenseits der 30°C. Ich werde nächstes Jahr voraussichtlich wieder nach Ludwigshafen kommen und das Gartenstadt Hotel wird meine 1.Wahl sein.

Wir hatten das Zimmer für 2 Nächte in Dezember gebucht. An einem kalten Wochenende hatten wir wegen einer Störung 1 Tag lang nur kaltes Wasser und kalte Heizkörper. Trotzdem wurde uns kein Rabatt oder Gutschein angeboten, da die Rechnung online über Expedia bezahlt wurde. Als ich nachfragte, wurde ich gefragt, ob ich irgendwann wieder nach Ludwigshafen kommen würde, wenn ja, würde ich vielleicht einen Rabatt erhalten. Als ich um eine Rechnung bat, erhielt ich eine von einem Hotelangestellten, aber über einen Betrag von 30 Euro weniger. Die Besitzerin sagte später, dass ich gar keine Rechnung hätte erhalten dürfen, weil ich online bei Expedia.de bezahlt hatte. Dies war der einzige Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und wird es auch so bleiben.
