Skip the hotels
You will not be disappointed in your stay at this wonderful B and B. This is our second time staying here. The hosts are so kind and caring. They will go out of their way to help and accommodate your needs. If you have a restrictive diet, Jennifer is careful to help with those needs. The Inn itself is old and charming. The mix of old and new is just right. Our room, the carpenter room, is one of the smaller rooms, but we did not spend a lot of time in the bedroom. We were in the area to see family. There are several other places you can sit and relax in in the Inn, as well as seating outdoors. Dan, Jennifer`s husband, is also so helpful and he makes a great waiter! Together they make a great team.

5 stars!
The owners of the Lamplighter B and B are wonderful. So attentive to your needs. They serve an amazing breakfast, helping those with special dietary restrictions. Very clean!! They use only unscented laundry soaps, so if you are very sensitive to perfumes, this is the place to go. If you like antiques, they have many. The Inn itself is so interesting with all the detailed woodwork. Our room had a window unit ac, I was a little concerned that it would be noisy when the air kicked in, but it was not, at all. Made for a nice white noise. We would definitely stay here again! Close to the city beach & the downtown area.

we had a very relaxing and wonderful stay at the lamplighter. The inn is beautiful clean and quiet. It is located so close to town and beaches. Dan and Jen were warm and welcoming the moment we walked in. We stayed there for two nights. The homemade breakfast was superb. They also have tea, coffee and cookies for guests 24 hrs. It is a perfect place to stay when you visit Ludington. You won't disappointed. Thank you, Dan and Jen for letting us to stayed in your beautiful home. Steven and Elisa.

Best Bed and Breakfast I’ve Stayed At
Could not of had a better experience then we had at Lamplighter. Jen and Dan were very welcoming and Lamplighter was better then any bed and breakfast we’ve ever experienced. You can tell a lot of thought and effort has been put into making everyone’s experience as good as possible. Cannot wait to go back.

Absolutely best the nights stay our whole trip! We were greeted by the owner. He gave us a tour, showed us our room and gave us tips for places to eat for dinner. Breakfast was so delicious and amazing, the portions were very filling. I couldn’t even finish mine. My husband and I felt very spoiled and wished we had planned to spend both our nights here. The room was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The owners were soo kind, hospitable, and very personal. My husband and I hope to come back again and again.

A pleasant stay.
