Even having arrived very early our room was immediately available. All staff were very helpful. Our room was immaculately clean. The breakfast staff were outstanding very friendly and very hospitable. The highlight though was the spa facility - out of this world. Highly recommend The Moon Boutique.

Unfortunately, The Hoxton Florence wasn’t our favorite stay. Overall, the hotel didn’t feel as well maintained as we had hoped. Our original room had a nice patio, but the glass door leading out to it was cracked, which was disappointing. There was also a strange odor in the room, possibly sewer-related, which detracted from our comfort. We had specifically reserved a room with a balcony but were told at check-in that none were available. The reception staff did move us to a larger room at no additional cost, which we appreciated, although we still didn’t get the balcony we had booked. The layout was also a bit strange. The hallway leading to our room had a section with three steps up and then three steps back down, which seemed impractical, especially when navigating with luggage. The location was convenient for some attractions, but if you want to explore beyond the Duomo area, be prepared for additional walking and plan your days accordingly. Overall, we appreciated the staff’s effort to accommodate us, but the overall aesthetic of the hotel, the room not matching our original reservation, and the unusual odor, the experience fell short of our expectations.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location for exploring the historic centre. Room was perfect, with an excellent bed, very good bathroom and shower, and a proper coffee machine. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and good, though constantly having to queue for poor machine coffee was annoying - and we didn't discover you could request proper coffee until just before we left! Have recommended the hotel to friends and would definitely book it again.
