"Loved this cottage! Beautiful waterfront location. You can walk right out the back door through the yard to sandbar birding area, and it's minutes away from Quoddy Head state park, my favorite place. The cottage is beautifully outfitted, everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and blankets. And some unexpected extras - robe & slippers, boots and rain gear! As we drove away, we were discussing when to book again next year."

"Lubec is lovely - the easternmost village in the United States. Lovely views from the room over the sound to Canadian islands, and you can drive across on a single-lane bridge. Almost no commercial razzmatazz unlike much of coastal Maine. The Inn on the Wharf and attached restaurant was fine. Other reviews have rightly noted that the restaurant can be loud, and service is pretty slow. For once, decent coffee, both in the restaurant and in the rooms. Slight minus: bath plug stuck on half-closed, could not close properly. The only two other restaurants in the village were only open Thur-Sun. A nice diner, Two Spruces is 5 miles away. Otherwise nothing. Would happily go again."

"I was apprehensive about renting a room, but it turns ed out to be a very niece place. Not many choices in Lubec ME. Very nice bar restaurant, Water Street Tavern, in walking distance. Room was very well appointed. Glad I didn't let the pictures change my decision."

"Comfy and cozy but quite spacious room! And I wanted to take the bed home with me, it was that wonderful. Patrick was helpful and responsive although we barely had to bother him because we had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed another night or two!"

"We loved staying at Megan's home. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We have rented cottages and apartments in various states (NY, Wisconsin, the UP of Michigan) and different locations in Maine (Stonington, Belfast, Rockland, and Owl's Head) and Megan's was our favorite. Her home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The view is special. I also feel compelled to recommend the Mercury ice cream available at the Value Foods grocery store in Welshpool, Campobello. Worth the 15 minutes it takes to get there."
