We found the listing because it was only 15 mins from the boat landing we where using for Lake Russell. There was plenty of parking for 2 trucks & 2 boats, with electrical hookup for the boats. There was a 2nd RV next to it but it was the only 5th Wheel RV so it wasn't hard to figure out. It was very comfortable for three grown men. It had all the appliances that you would need. Great benefit is it is behind the Store & Cafe so you didn't have to drive for food or anything. The food was great & the owners of the Store & Cafe where very nice. Michael was very nice & checked in on us & communicated excellently with us. We will definitely use this location again.

We were attending a wedding at Heywood Manor, a near-by wedding venue. This location was perfect for us as I like to be near the venue; what made it even better was the small diner that is ‘attached’ to this property so we did NOT need to cook! We went to the diner & store several times. The meals were made from scratch; we cleaned our plates every time & were reasonably priced. The locals were there so we KNEW it had to be good. Yes, it is an RV. Our trip was to be with family for a wedding, fishing trips & general relaxation. I don’t need a Disney Resort - I need a clean, comfortable, safe & accommodating place to stay. This really fulfilled our needs. Plenty of sleeping spaces, good A/C, 2 baths, W/D, TV, WIFI. While there wasn’t any big wildlife seen (deer, bear, etc) there are Chickens next door so if you are a light sleeper, there are ‘natural’ alarm clock’s nearby. We would see them out in the back field once in a while, no big deal. They were quiet at night. While this location is 30 miles from my nearest relative, I would recommend it & the host for stays near Heywood Manor or Charlie’s Creek and Allen Creek which feeds into the Savanna River. The nearby town of Iva is lovely, the Mexican Restaurant, Mi Fiesta, was delicious, service was excellent & people in Iva were friendly.
