Loved the gorgeous location in the woods and the beautiful home. Everything we needed was provided. The property was so quiet and peaceful. We had a very restful time and were refreshed during our stay. We also enjoyed the hot springs nearby! That was a great experience!
My wife and I wanted to get away and relax, with hot springs nearby. Perfect place for that. A little bit of a drive away from main road, but still close to hot springs and another little drive to restaurant(s). Not too many options of restaurants, so if interested... bring food and beverages.
Really good quick get away for my wife and I.
If you want to be nearly secluded in the Ponderosa pines and gorgeous mountains with hot springs practically outside your door… then this is the place… really nice property through and through!!!
Beautiful place, great space for me and my husband.
The scenery was breath taking, close to several natural hot springs. Definitely need chains getting to the cabin due to the snow but directions provided were great. The cabin itself was cozy and clean. Host was great answered my call and provided additional information.
This is a nice, cute and clean place to stay! There were 4 adults so we did use the sofa bed, it was ok in comfort. We knew there was only one bathroom, note that it's only accessible through the bedroom. It would accommodate 2 people better but we knew that. Fast communication from host! As noted in the listing there is no cell service, make sure you have the directions from the host downloaded ahead of time! It would have been very hard to find otherwise.
We enjoyed the Kirkham hot springs nearby!
Confusion, I believe because the VRBO site was apparently out dated and different than owner communicated later(checkin/out,cleaning fee, checkout instructions). We went mid April and it snowed 7" which was fine until it started to melt the next day making it impossible to get back to cabin without chains. (WE HAD AN ALLWHEEL DRIVE SUV and are Very capeable mud/snow drivers) so heed the warning!!!
Owner has been very good at communicating and working things out with us and the property was nice.
My husband and I loved staying here! It was so much fun. It was secluded, close to the Payette River, and not too close to other cabins. It was also just about a 5 minute drive to the closest hot springs, with plenty more just a little farther down the road. We would definitely love to come back!
Perfect for myself and my companion to escape the city!
My hope for us was to find a peaceful and safe spot to escape the noise of Independence Day. The Lowman Lodge was exactly what we were seeking.
Upon arrival, the cabin was spotless.
It is very well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and it is clear that the owner(s) have put much care and thoughtfulness in creating the environment.
I especially appreciate that it is an upstairs unit as the breezes form opening the dual-panes windows allowed for a feeling of serenity and freedom.
The cabin is VERY quiet and though not on the creek, we could hear it at night.
The living area is quite spacious and the Smart -TV was perfect for entertainment.
There is a small (4) seat dining area off the main living room as well as the stunning wood countertop with barstools.
The bedroom is tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and is complete with a large walk-in closet and in-suite “sparkling” clean bathroom.
The split-room cooling system is perfect as one can cool either the main area or the bedroom separately as needed. No heat was needed but there is a propane heater in the main living area for such purposes.
The kitchen has absolutely everything one would need for a short or long stay.
The deck off the front of the cabin was lovely for evening breezes and was equipped with a barbecue that went unused this visit.
In closing, the Lowman Lodge is truly lovely and we will return.
