"Purdy Lodge was the perfect base for our 5 day stay in Northumberland. The property is well located, just off the A1. The room was good, given the price. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times - they have clearly been well trained to be very customer focused. The breakfast options were excellent and the food very tasty and well presented. The evening meal options - on the restaurant and the cafe - were excellent and the meals were very tasty and well presented. Overall, Purdy Lodge was brilliant. "

"Stayed in a Garden Room which was lovely and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and comfortable chairs for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed Breakfast both in the hotel and in the pub. Good base for two days of walking. "
