"What are you looking for? If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, well-equipped, functional, very spacious, accommodation - where you can cook a meal, settle in like home, with kind and helpful owners and rest well ā€” this spot will work for you. The view of the river missed our attention as we spent most of our stay sleeping soundly. But: it is on the rivers edge, close to UMO, Bangor amphitheater, local restaurants within a close drive. Good stop along lifeā€™s journey. Off-season so room should have been aired out before we arrived, a torn bath mat and old towel should be replaced, otherwise for this location, and this type of stay, it really is a 5. Lovely and welcoming owners. Just donā€™t expect city slick. You are not in the city. You are comfortably home in northern Maine. If that is what you are looking for, this will meet all of your needs, and then some!"
