"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over this past weekend. Joy's Chalet provided everything we hoped to get from our time away. It's an hour or so from downtown Ottawa, We got to bring our doggo which was wonderful! Communication with the host was 10/10. Chalet was as described. Check in a breeze. Beds were comfortable, lots of spare blankets and pillows. Chalet was perfectly clean. Everything worked as expected, no issues with anything in the kitchen and the hot tub was in perfect working...

"Everything was exceptionally clean!! The hosts answered any questions in a helpful and timely fashion. The only thing I would mention is that sound is not very insulated! You can hear upstairs everything in the basement-even whispers, the walls are very thin so be mindful of how much noise you make as to not wake others. Thanks to the hosts"

"Our family stayed at Xian’s for a winter getaway after Christmas. The view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces including the fire pit and walk 180+ steps down to the water. The interior spaces were perfect for a large Family. The kids enjoyed all of the games in the downstairs area. Wifi and TV were excellent. There was ample space to eat, watch tv, play cards."

"We were very happy with the little house. It had all we basically needed...There was one main thing, I need to comment on. When we arrived, the house needed airing out, as do any. There were not enough screens to do this in a timely manner. So, more screens,. A microwave would have been an added bonus.....overall, we enjoyed the cabin, and the huge deck., overlooking the lac....the boat deck was very sketchy, and needs major repair.. Thank you for letting us stay there.!!!!!"

There were no blind/curtains in one bedroom so it was very bright, early in the morning. We would return again but probably during a warmer time of year."

Nadine was very responsive to messages, even able to accomodate a date change for us! She reached out well before check in to let us know about check in process and a little blip in Wi-Fi which was quickly rectified. The kids had fun jumping in the lake (clear water beautiful lily pads) in the paddle boat and trying kayaking. We had lots of nights around the fire...

"Loved this property, waterfall is the show stopper for sure but so many other amazing little details all around the property. Hot tub as night facing the back light falls with the crackling of the camp fire going was beyond wonderful, also sleeping with the window cracked open to hear the waterfall all night, slept so sound.
