We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse. Zij sprak redelijk Engels. Accommodatie was prima. Lekkere tuin voor de deur als extra. Woonkamer/keuken niet erg groot. Maar als het mooi weer is zit je ook niet binnen. Slaapkamer en badkamer voldoet. Helaas wel een douchegordijn, wat ik zelf niet echt fijn vind. Ze hebben last van boktorren in het plafond. Die kun je wel horen 's nachts (knagend geluid). Eigenaresse gaf aan dat zodra de woning niet meer verhuurt was, zij dit ging behandelen. Omgeving: er wordt heel veel gebouwd in de directe omgeving. Je hebt er echter geen geluidsoverlast van. Het dorp is duidelijk groeiende. Weinig winkels en eetgelegenheden in de directe omgeving.

Lovinac is een ideale plaats als je voor de rust komt. Het vakantiehuis is fraai en voorzien van alle benodigdheden. De familie Matovinovic is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Lovinac leent zich uitstekend voor fietstochten in de buurt. Er zijn verschillende fietsroutes die vanaf de uitstekende VVV in het dorp starten. Hier kun je tevens mountain bikes huren, zowel standaard als elektrische uitvoeringen. Ook voor het doen van uitstapjes is Lovinac zeer geschikt. Het ligt temidden van vele bezienswaardigheden de natuurparken Paklenica, Plitvice en Krka, steden als Zadar, Sibenik en Split en één van de mooiste grotten van Kroatië, de Cerovac caves. Tevens is een dagtocht met de boot naar de Kornati eilanden een aanrader. Zelfs dolfijnen gezien hier.
