The Space:
Look no further - here's your downtown loft you've been seeking - a special space for the select few in Historic downtown Louisville that has undergone a complete renovation with every effort made to preserve the very best in our historic nationally recognized architecture - Exposed brick, beams, and wood that would tell stories for decades if it could. Space for the whole gang, where everyone can spread out and enjoy. We have 2 bedrooms that have king beds, and a queen size sleeper sofa, our 2.5 bathrooms ensure there's no lack of prep space for a night out on the town. Additionally - the kitchen is well equipped for dining in!

This space in downtown Louisville is extremely close to all sorts of attractions that you'll be seeking! Dinner, drinks, shops, distilleries and excitement!

Derby Weekend

The property felt very safe, tucked in a nook with door codes. They even have a covered parking space close by. The accommodations were comfortable and conveniently located. We would recommend this place for girls trip, friends or family.

We really enjoyed our stay at the loft. Nice, secure location. Only drawback is some noise from next-door unit guests. That is not a deal-breaker. Will stay again if we return to Louisville.

Bourbon Trail

Whirl away was on a great location for walking distance to several distilleries and great restaurants. Our host made several recommendations for us and they were outstanding! The loft was equipped with all the comforts of home! We definitely enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!!

Great Place

Had a great stay! The loft has a great atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and has convenient garage parking right near the main entry door. Sean communicated all the details for check-in and also sent a message to us in the middle of our stay to make sure everything was going well. Much appreciated! Would recommend this to anyone visiting Louisville.

Stocked Loft in best location

The loft was just as advertised, if not better. Stocked with plenty of amenities and extras. Walking distance to great restaurants and activities downtown. Check-in process takes a minute to navigate but instructions are more than sufficient if followed. Sean was quick to respond and checked on us multiple times. Will definitely stay again on next trip to Louisville!

Great place

We had a great stay here in Louisville. The place was well stocked and clean. We will most likely stay here again on our return trips. Street parking for 30 minutes was always available to pop in or unload our stuff. The parking garage is next door so we felt safe leaving our vehicle there. The only downside is that the rooms are all open at the top. So lights and sounds travel throughout the place.

Perfect place to stay on the Bourbon trail

My wife myself and another couple stayed here on the second leg of our bourbon trail experience. It was very neat, tidy, and well maintained. The host was super responsive. It is within walking distance of several fantastic restaurants, bars, and of course distilleries, as was the reason for our trip. I don't think I would recommend doing that walking at night, though. That's what uber is for. Great experience here. Would highly recommend for those planning similar trips.

Family Bourbon Tasting

I think if I looked where I wanted to stay in Louisville and dropped a pin in the map, it would be right here. It's walking distance to some excellent food and central to many of the Louisville distilleries. Bodeguita de Mima and Rabbit Hole were family favorites in town. It was also close enough to hike Bernheim, visit Churchill Downs, and head up to KY Artisan Distillery without spending the day in a car.The property was as described, central and clean, with an updated historic charm. The owner was accommodating and quickly responded when I had a question. On top of that, the checkout request was literally 1 item instead of a list. 5/5. Will come back. Thank you for an awesome stay.

Highly recommend this place

We stayed here when we had our first trip planned to Churchill Downs. Before we headed downtown we noticed the air kicked off and the touch screen thermostat in the hallway went black. I text the host about it because it was 98 degrees outside and before we got back from downtown Sean had the AC fixed and cool inside! He sent us a text that it was back on and apologized for the inconvenience. It didn't inconvenience us in anyway because we were in town anyway but we were very impressed with the speed of getting it fixed. The pictures of the apartment were exactly as the apartment. It was clean and beautiful. He had all the towels, toiletries, pans, utensils, coffee and games at your convenience. We would definitely stay again!

Roomy Loft in Louisville

Lots of room in this 2-bedroom loft. Location is good—about 2 blocks from main Louisville sites. Parking is conveniently provided in the parking garage next door. Place is exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable; one bedroom had a closet but no dresser. Bathrooms are on the smaller side but serviceable.Kitchen area is adequately stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. We did note that no toaster is provided.It looked overall quite clean. The floors looked a little dusty when we arrived, but when I reached out to owner, he was very concerned about this and sent someone over immediately to take care of it.Of note, this is a loft and the ceilings above are completely open with no division between the rooms, so sounds inside carry throughout.Overall, it was a great place to stay and I recommend it.

Bourbon Tour Getaway

The location of this loft was absolutely ideal for easy access to the Bourbon Distilleries. The space itself was a great size and comfortable. However, there were a few minor issues that detracted from the overall experience. Noise levels could vary depending on the occupants of the adjacent unit, as it occasionally got loud. Additionally, the main bathroom shower could have been cleaned more thoroughly upon our arrival. We found a used washcloth left behind. The oven seemed to be malfunctioning. The door wouldn't close completely or heat above 275°. Lastly, the flickering lights were a bit bothersome. Despite these small issues, our overall experience was positive. We would stay again. loft for its prime location and spacious layout.
