The management group 😠

The house was exactly what we expected; nice, updated, good back yard, parking, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The second 1/2 of this rental process was very nice, the first 1/2 was VERY frustrating. This rental was secured through Vrbo, normally this process is very easy, but this house uses Vrbo to “advertise” on or traffic renters. Once I submitted my reservations my card was charged for a small amount by Vrbo and then 3rd party reached out for permission to charge the remaining balance. (The 3rd party seemed very spam like.) The 3rd party required a selfie be texted with the card used for the reservation and the license of the card holder. When I pushed back on this intrusive request I was told it was required by their credit card processor. I asked for their CC processor to then reach out to me directly for this information. They responded this it is actually for their “peace is mind” knowing someone isn’t using a stolen CC. That liability would fall on VRBO, if they were using their services properly. After much back and forth I finally complied due to running out of time to book something else. I covered all but the last 4 of the CC and the state and zip of my license still showing the full name, nope, this still wasn’t enough information for them! This was the most sketchy request of information I have ever dealt with and would suggest others look for a different rental or this management group (Newman Hospitality) figure out a different process.

Veronica's place

House was not the cleanest. House had a leaking from dishwasher, water heater leaked all over the floor onto towels, etc. tried to rectify this and they wanted to send a handyman when we weren't around.

Event Stay at Veronica's Place

House was clean. Key code didn't work but called and immediately got help and a new code. Beds were comfy. Location a 20 minute walk from event but we knew that when we booked. Biggest issue ....ice cream scoop wasn't very strong lol. Would stay again.

Excellent Home

My friend and I came into town to visit Louisville, and absolutely found the Indiana Veronica Place home to be perfect! The house was really clean and the location was fabulous! Super quiet area, close to some shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and some local sites. Crossing the bridge into Louisville was a breeze and only took 10-15 minutes depending on where we were headed. We would both absolutely recommend (highly recommend) this home for anyone vacationing in Jeffersonville, Louisville, or the surrounding area!

Veronica Stay

The home was nice, but not the best location. It was the bugs that made it not so pleasant. Ants, some dead bugs in my bed. I saw a bed bug on the wall, but didn’t see any in the bed. Noticed the back door not fully sealed, which may be how the ants got in.
