"THE PRES" is a 5th floor Penthouse Suite with a large rooftop patio showcasing amazing River views. At 900 sq ft, this upscale unit has an open-concept studio layout and features: a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, a King bed (& sleeper sofa), a large bathroom, and laundry. "THE PRES" is in the 713 - a beautifully renovated historic building on Museum Row in downtown Louisville. In addition to this suite, the 713 includes: a 1 Bdrm, 2 Bdrm, and (2) 4 Bdrm units! Sleeps 2.

The space
The Penthouse Suite has an upscale yet comfortable interior. Beyond the living space is a large rooftop patio overlooking the Ohio River. Special accommodations can be made to rent "The Pres" for private events such as Thunder Over Louisville with advance approval from the hosts and additional fees.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the lobby and the Penthouse. The elevator key provides private access to the Penthouse unit. Guests will need to meet any visitors in the lobby and accompany them to the 5th floor. Only paying guests will have access to their units beyond the lobby.

Other things to note
Hosts typically do not rent to locals and this unit is not to be used for parties. The hosts will consider private events for additional fees, but it must be approved prior to booking.

Perfect location on Whiskey Row, and perfect time of year to enjoy the patio, which was enormous. Well appointed, great kitchen, only opportunity for improvement was the overly firm bed, which is personal taste, and the exit sign, easily remedied with a sleeping mask. Highly recommended.

This property was one of the coolest places I've stayed, been all around the world!! The location can't be beat! Only one challenge was the mattress. I would suggest they check it out themselves and consider an update. Would have been a five star review if not for this one and only challenge. We will be back next year again, I believe this is the highest compliment a "returning guest".

This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals I have stayed in! It is so well decorated, such a gorgeous view of the river, so quiet (even with the freeway not far away) and so perfectly located to all the tourist attractions in Louisville. It was a special treat to stay here! Highly recommend!!! Loved this place!

Great Louisville getaway location for couples

Check in was a breeze, and the apartment is beautiful. It was a little too cold and windy to properly use the outdoor patio, but it was a great additional space. The location is great and very walkable to plenty of amenities. The decor is great and it was a cozy but very upscale vibe. We did go in December, so I found the room to be a little bit drafty, but with a sweater and glass of bourbon, we barely even noticed! Overall a fabulous stay.

Absolutely luxurious

My wife and l had an absolutely wonderful time in Louisville, and staying in The Pres made it even that much more of a memorable experience. The location is picture perfect, situated in the beautiful historic district with awesome views of the Ohio River. The room is beyond spacious, and every amenity is top notch, from the mattress, to the furniture, appliances, and even kitchen wear. The owners spared no expenses in designing and furnishing this rental property. Communication with the owner was also fantastic, as we had a slight issue with the security code box, but she immediately responded and handled the matter within minutes, very attentive! Overall, perfect 5 stars!!

Beautiful and close to everything

Beautiful unit close to just about everything in downtown. Comfortable furniture. Well stocked kitchen to cook. Spa like bathroom. Felt like home away from home. Loved the view of the river and outside space. Super close to all the museums and a nice walk to a fantastic array of restaurants and distilleries. Owners were very responsive to our handful of questions. Convenient and inexpensive parking a block behind the building in the science center lot. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway!

What a great place!!! Diane and Patti have thought of everything here and were super responsive to our questions. The place is a penthouse dream-of course it helped that our weather was perfect for sitting outside relaxing all night and morning! What a view! Location is close to so many things and parking was not a problem at all. We plan on returning as it was our first time in Louisville and so much to do and see. Five stars across the board!! Thank you!
