Hotel is outdated. There were times I wondered whether or not the toilet was going to flush. Key cards kept deactivating. Would I stay here again on my own free will…no. Did it have what I needed for two nights, such as shower, toilet and bed…yes. Brighter note, the pool was larger than most other hotels I have stayed. Free breakfast would have offset some negatives, but that wasn’t the case.

Hotel is very old. Pictures are deceiving. When you walk in the lobby area is very nice. Cafe is NOT open. No coffee. Hallways etc stunk of weed, rooms very outdated, TV very old a lot of the remote buttons didn’t work. Staff were not the friendliest.

Old and outdated. No continental breakfast. Not even complimentary coffee—had to pay $2.50 per cup. And it was burnt half the time.

This hotel is infested with bedbugs! The hotel was supposed to give me a refund and they did not so im disputing the charges with my credit card co. The staff are friendly as long as you are in their face but once you leave,goodluck getting your intended results.

The property had its issues. First it took me 4 times of keys not working to get someone to come look at the lock. The problem being that I had to pound on the batteries before it would work. Really? Then the breakfast wasn't mentioned that it wasn't free, but also no price given until exit. $14 for eggs and such is more than a restaurant charges. Calling the front desk no one answers ever! No instructions for the TV, and ceiling had, or has a leak. With the prices charged this should be a nicer experience.

The pictures of both outside and inside the property are extremely deceiving. It appears to be a property that has been updated and make the lobby and rooms very spacious and clean. When in fact, you pull up the building you see two separate much older buildings that have caution tape around stairs and very musty smelling hallways and the rooms feel “wet”. That’s before going into the bathroom and seeing a shower stall that is 6’6” tall with a shower spout made for people who are 5’4”. I’m 6’4” and couldn’t even sat and up in there and the shower would have him me in the chest. My family and I checked in, looked at the room and checked right back out and lost $200 because we booked through Expedia. While cancelling the reservation, another guest was at the desk complaint that the carpet in her room was soaked. Zero stars!

Our room door would not lock when we left the room. We informed the front desk when we left for a wedding on Saturday afternoon. We returned around 11:30 pm and the room door was still unlocked. No explanation, no message from maintenance or the front desk.

Right before I went to bed, saw some kind of food on the floor and something crawling. I ended up sleeping in my car. Only use the room to take a shower in the morning before leaving.

We loved the lake and what animals wenr with it. Liked our lite patio outside our room. My granddaughter liked the indoor pool. The room met all our needs.

For starters, nobody answers the phone. Secondly, the pool was closed most of the time during our stay. The cafe was closed even though they have a sign with the hours they were supposed to be open. They did not run our cards correctly, causing overcharges. The beds are uncomfortable. They say no smoking, but we see employees smoking with doors open on our floor. The photos online are very deceiving.

Im giving this hotel a 0 star rating. The room was filthy. The bed sheets were nasty, the bathroom was nasty. The curtains and walls looked grimey. I dont believe the room has ever been properly cleaned. There was loud music and drunk people all throughout the hotel. It seemed like it was a partying hotel. The environment didnt feel safe. Overall this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in.

Very nice hotel! Really nice indoor pool, wish I had time to have enjoyed it. Room was clean and staff was very nice. Weekends the bar has a dj that I did get to enjoy. Very close to downtown louisville which made it very convenient for me and the show I was seeing at Mercury Ballroom. I will use this hotel again!

The staff there was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is an older hotel, but the food in the resteraunt was good and it was close to several locations. I will stay here again.

Stay would’ve been better had I been able to get a hot shower during my 3 day stay. Hot water in the sick but cold water in the shower, brought this to the attention of the staff on Friday morning, and again on Saturday and was assured that maintenance would be by shortly to look at it and if it couldn’t be fixed they would change our room. Well maintenance never showed up and never got changed to another room. Upon talk to front desk at check out there were 3 other guest who had the same complaints and that the hotel manager would be in contact with me by phone to set up some type of reimbursement for the issue. No one has called to this point to even try to make things right.

No microwave in room, they are only available at front desk. No complimentay light breakfast. These are items other hotels routinely offer
