Beautiful place to stay

This is a beautiful place to stay. Clean, great amenities, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect and we were easily able to walk to the Main Street area for eating/shopping. You won’t be disappointed in choosing this place!

Bourbon Trail Experience

We stayed three nights and toured several distilleries in the area such as angel’s envy and buffalo trace. Our accommodations were exceptional. The home was well stocked, spacious enough for the four of us and the furnishings were comfortable and modern. The hosts were readily available for any issues or questions. Excellent place to stay!

Super cute older brick home with amazing updates. This place was absolutely wonderful! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with all of the essentials! The hosts are very responsive and check-in / check-out was easy. The house is within walking distance to a coffee shop, ice cream shoppe, restaurants and bars. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again!

Stayed at property for 3 nights (3 couples). Everything was clean and fresh. Great location to hit many stops on Bourbon Trail. Owners very communicative and offered suggestions. Would stay here again and recommend for 3-4 couples traveling together.

Bourbon Tour Stay

Loved this stay - We took a trip to celebrate a couple of 30th birthday's on the Bourbon Tour and this was the perfect house for it. Very great location to the distilleries, restaurants, and coffee shops. The place was very clean and beautifully updated. The managers stayed in contact with us during our stay, but we never needed anything as it was ready for us when we arrived!

Great bourbon trail weekend stay with friends

We all loved the property and had more than enough space for 6 of us to relax after visiting distilleries. Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms was perfect when we needed some space or quiet, and there is a good sized tvs in each living room. The bathrooms and kitchens are nicely updated. We walked to dinner in downtown shelbyville - about 4-5 blocks. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful weekend in Kentucky

We stayed at this beautiful property for four days. The place was great, very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. It was great to have a bedroom and bathroom for each of the four couples in our group. We pretty much hung in the kitchen when we were at the property, even though the living rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Great location for Bourbon Trail

We used both floors, the pass through was great between up stairs and down. Good amount of cooking supplies. The shuffleboard table was a great way to sip the Bourbon and have some fun at home. The main bathrooms are small but the other two guest bathrooms are great in size.Very nice place.

Our stay was perfect

Everything about our getaway was perfect. We arrived to the house around 9 and the keyless entry was flawless. The house was exactly as the pictures described and was perfect for two couples. The decor of the home was nicely created and felt very homey. We spent most of our time on the Bourbon Trail and loved the location so we could get to where we were going in about 30 to 45 minutes. Buffalo Trace was a daily stop and was a 30 minute drive. We’d definitely recommend this home.

What a beautiful property. Love the dark makeup towels provided and the mixed drink suggestion. The convenience was great. In between Louisville and Lexington. Nice small town to explore. Would definitely go again. Thanks for experience.

House is in a great location for a bourbon tour. Set up worked well for us. Upstairs & downstairs is same setup; living room, kitchen, bedroom with bath attached & another bedroom with bath across the hall. Kitchen had everything we needed to eat in each night. Super clean and I appreciate no fragrance on the towels or sheets! Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Erin & Cameron’s house. The set up was perfect for four couples. We had great location for the bourbon trail. The house was exactly as pictured. The speak easy door was very fun! The house fit our weekend theme well. The house was clean and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive when we had a question. Our only complaint was the pizza place behind the house was open late and was a little noisy.

Bourbon Trail retreat

Very nice property and perfectly suited for four couples with everyone getting their own queen bed and bathroom. Nicely appointed kitchens and the shuffleboard table upstairs was a nice touch. Our host Erin was fantastic. She was friendly and incredibly responsive anytime we had questions. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was location. Situated right next to a convenience store which attracted some interesting clientele that wandered around and made the wives uncomfortable

Nice, clean rental

The Oak is on the bottom floor of a 2 story STR. It was very clean, with a spacious and well-stocked kitchen and dining area. The living room was cozy as were the 2 bedrooms. This is a very old building and we could hear the people above us enjoying themselves when we were in the living room. This property is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. It is also right next door to a pizza shop and convenience store. We did need to contact management over a few, small issues that were very quickly addressed and corrected.

Bourbon Getaway

We liked the house! It was cozy and so the decor was spot on. Lovely place! Short walk downtown to a few bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. We loved this. It was a bit further to some of the distilleries we were visiting which wasn't a big deal. The little plaza next door attracts some characters and there is a bit of noise from the street and the Firehouse near the house. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this place and even consider staying here again. Erin was so welcoming and quick to respond when I texted her with parking questions.

Perfect little spot on the bourbon trail!

Just my husband and I on an extended weekend to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We picked this area because of its proximity to the distilleries we wanted to visit. Very pleased with the property. Everything was updated, clean and spacious enough for us to have shared with another couple. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard and Sorry! Neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet. Beds were comfortable enough. The cocktail recipe with the Ale8 and bitters was a nice touch! Our only suggestion is to consider adding a whisk in the kitchen & an additional lamp in the corner behind the main door. We enjoyed our stay and the town of Shelbyville. Would stay here again if going to that portion of the bourbon trail! Oh and highly recommend Larrikin and Jeptha Creek distilleries!
