The Whiskey Stop - We are ready to host short term, mid-term, and long term rental guests. Digital nomads, nurses and healthcare professionals welcome!
Located close to everything cool, you are in walking distance to the hip local restaurants and bars in Germantown and Schnitzelberg neighborhoods. Our home is completely remodeled with all the modern conveniences and a comfortable, casual touch. You’ll feel at ease as soon as you walk in! But with so much to see and do in Louisville you’ll load up your itinerary with unforgettable experiences.
The space-
Renovated shotgun style home with all the amenities and comforts you’re accustomed to! You’ll never want to leave! The living room area has lots of natural light and 12 foot ceilings for open and relaxed feel. Stand up video game machine with 60 vintage games like Pacman, Galaga, Donkey Kong, etc. Don't forget to bring your quarters! Pub table seats 4 and has games like chess & checkers for downtime fun. Custom shades throughout the home. The master bedroom has a new queen sized mattress with premium bedding for a restful slumber. Full bathroom with luxurious towels and aromatherapy will help get you ready for the day! Kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with microwave, gas range/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and most important- the 12 cup coffee pot!!!
We have 2 smart TVs with high speed internet (we cut the cord on cable). This means you can watch commercial free TV if you have accounts like Netflix, Hulu, Sling, etc. We also have local channels through antenna TV.
Washer/Dryer included.
Guest access-
Use the lockbox on the back door to gain access to the key. The key works both the front and back doors.
Private parking pad in the back. Free on street parking in the front.
No Pets, No Parties/Events please.
Other things to note-
Video game with 60 different games uses quarters to play so please bring a roll or 2 if you love gaming.

Perfect for a short stay in Louisville!

The house was easy to find and access, and it was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room had a very high ceiling which made it seem super-spacious. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We were in town for our daughter’s volleyball tournament, the place is very nice and clean and about 10 mins drive to downtown and 10 mins to the KY exposition center. I would definitely recommend this place if you in town and need a place to stay.

Great place in the heart of Louisville

Great Stay

This is the perfect little house for your stay. Great location and walking to a cool area for some bars and restaurants and quick trip to downtown and all the sights. Highly recommend staying here.

Great place with great hosts

We encountered an issue upon arrival (heating wasn't working) and Karen and Ken were able to quickly get in touch with us and get the issue solved promptly. Great hosts and we enjoyed the arcade machine! Overall great place that is within walking distance of restaurants and bars.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, there were plenty of places to eat/drink. We would recommend staying here, there are so many places to walk to or a short drive. The bourbon trails are a great place to enjoy. The host was easy to contact.

Great Location

Easy accessibility for all our planned outings. This house is a home, we immediately felt comfortable. Parking is at a premium so I was grateful for the parking pad behind the house. It offers everything we need and a great kitchen!

Great stay

The house was clean and the check-in process was good. No direct communication from the host initially but all the information was included in the email. The location was great! Minutes away from Logan Street Market and only a few minutes away from downtown. Lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood that are within walking distance. We would stay again if we come back to Louisville. The only minor complaint would be that the AC/HVAC is loud when it’s on. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe but we did see a few sketchy people walking around when we were sitting out front. If you’re inside the whole time you shouldn’t have any issues.
