You will absolutely love this quaint Cottage with the best view of the lake and marina. This lovely Cottage has a hot tub overlooking Taylorsville Lake with great views of wildlife as well. Look and you will see many deer turkey, rabbit, hawks, eagles and other wildlife. This two bed two full bath cottage has everything you will need and equipped with a full kitchen, towels, laundry. Sleeps 6 to 7 people with one King bed, three twin beds, and one queen sleeper sofa. This great cottage is located in the center of Bourbon Country just about 30 minutes from many of the best distilleries in the country. Relax and enjoy this Great cottage with a view! Take a swim and soak up some sun!! Hike the trails and enjoy your stay. Oh, did we mention the large pool located on site! Nice large patio area with loungers and nearby restroom.

This cottage was perfect! It was clean and we had plenty of room! It's a short drive to the marina and to the gas station/convenient store. In addition to the lake, we enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck and community pool in the resort.

Great get away

Great stay. House was easy to find and was clean and spacious. There is a good size dining room table and the living room/bedroom furniture was comfortable. We had a great time in the hot tub and enjoyed our time exploring the lake and surrounding area.

Nice, quiet cabin

Kim’s cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. Edgewater resort was quiet and very close to the lake. Nice hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing and cozy New Year’s Eve

The property was exactly as described and super clean. We hung out with our dog, did a hike at the state park, and made meals together in the cute and homey kitchen. Kimberly was a great host! She was kind, responsive, and let us extend our stay for a few hours. Would absolutely recommend!

Peace and Quiet

We loved the cottage. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub over looking the lake was a bonus. It looks like you can rent patio boats on the lake too. We did not rent, but would be something fun to do next time.

Nice little get away from the city!

I drove down from Louisville for my birthday. It was wonderful to have a place close by to crash after outdoor fun. The view of Taylorsville lake was great and I loved driving around and seeing the wildlife. Didn't have much luck fishing down at the lake, but there is always next time.

Thanksgiving Week

We had a great time over Thanksgiving week. The hot tub is our favorite one at Edgewater! Trailheads were close and the cottage had everything we needed to make family meals. The beds were very firm, so if you don't like that, this might not be the one for you. The fireplace is a bit tricky, but unless you're coming during cold weather, that shouldn't matter. The kitchen had a few things on hand, so we didn't have to buy some spices and things. Plenty of linens, some toiletries and paper products, nice decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Lots of little things

Overall, the place was clean however, several items weren’t maintained as well as they could be. - a few lightbulbs throughout need to be replaced… microwave light, master bedroom light. - many active spiderwebs with spiders on the back deck. - hot tub had debris and dead bugs in it - again, while the overall cleanliness was okay, there were dead bugs throughout the place. - not enough additional towels in kitchen and bathrooms

The stay was OK.

My family and I were traveling from Michigan to stay a few nights at this location. I was told by the host that I wouldn't receive the check in information until the day we were to arrive. I told the host we were planning on arriving at the property at 4pm. My family arrived to the property and still had not received the check in information. Overall the stay was fine, but the communication could be better. We did kill at least 3 stink bugs in the house each day we were there. I had tried to contact our host Thursday morning to see about tacking on one more night to our stay. Never heard anything back from the host until 9:00am the morning we were suppose to leave (had to be out by 11am). By that time we were already packed up almost ready to leave.

Beautiful cabin with wonderful views

We loved our stay at this house and especially enjoyed the hot tub during the snow day, the fireplace and the nearby playground. The key pad gave us problems on the night of check in but our host was very responsive and a kind representative fixed the issue the next day and turned on our fireplace settings outside . Will most likely come again next year
