The cabin was comfortably furnished and inviting. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The front porch was a peaceful setting to enjoy nature. There was a pond, a fire pit, and a lot of nature to observe in and around the cabin. Even in the rustic setting, the state of the art TVs had a good variety of channels and programming. The one drawback was the bed which was hard and lumpy at the same time. If you have back or hip problems, bring a mattress pad.

Awesome Place

What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Very quiet, well maintained cabin with great views. Would definitely recommend if near Louisa, Ky checking this cabin out.

Beautifully serene

This is a location I needed to spend more than one night in, not just as a stopover. Larry is friendly and welcoming, communicated well, and efficiently helped me check in. The location is set back and very quiet, I loved the touch of delicious homemade wine for sale in the kitchen, and sitting on the porch sipping it while watching the wildlife was perfect.

Tranquil wilderness retreat

Cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Secluded but easy to get to. Had a peaceful evening and even heard a whippoorwill! Larry was very accommodating and waited up for us so he could let us into the cabin.

Perfect Retreat

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway Workman’s Wildlife Haven is your place. The grounds are breathtaking and the cabin is so comfortable and cozy. We loved being able to hike without leaving the property and sitting on the big front porch watching the deer meandering in the field.

Such a relaxing time

You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at!!! It was peaceful and the owner of the place was welcoming and inviting. We will be back for a longer stay. If you are looking to get away from everyday life and just relax this is the place!!!!!

Perfect for our Family

Larry was so welcoming and the cabin worked out perfectly for us. My girls loved the opportunity to sleep on bunk beds and we tried our hand at fishing! We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed here for 5 days. The pictures dont do justice to the place. If you're looking for a quiet stay with beautiful scenery I highly recommend it. serene and a great reset !! Host was so helpful !

Awesome!

What a great place to stay. We traveled here to fish at Yatesville Lake. The cabin sits on a hillside overlooking a large field and wildlife feeder. The cabin didn’t disappoint as it has everything you could need for a getaway. Check in and out was simple and Larry is a great host. Best place we have ever stayed in on our fishing adventures.

The Prefect Getaway

A wonderful place to rest and relax. The scenery is amazing and peaceful. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. It was beyond are expectations. A place we are looking forward to visiting again. Seeing the deer and wild turkeys with their little ones.

Beautiful escape place
