"Our check in staff was lovely and our room started off wonderful. It is a beautiful place. The next morning, our breakfast tray (great breakfast) on our room’s table was crawling with ants by 10:30am. I reported the ant concern to the front desk and I was told with a shrug that it is probably from some recent rain. This hotel is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Know it may come with bugs. The laissez-faire attitude was our concern as much as the ants. We weren’t expecting any freebies, just some empathy for the situation. "

"This is our second time visiting this beautiful home. It is a gorgeous property with a large manicured backyard that offers peace & calm. At night the yard is framed in soft lights which was gorgeous. Also, added since our last visit at the end of the yard, a large gazebo with comfortable seating & tables for another great seating area. The home itself is bright & airy & decorated with Julie’s treasures from her travels. The fireplace in the living room is an added bonus for warmth & ambiance. We loved the ease to walk to local restaurants, Farmstead,Pizzeria Tra Vigne around the corner & then up Main Street to Cook , Market & Ray Ray’s tacos. And of course a few wine tasting rooms. The location is ideal. Julie was quick & so easy to communicate with to answer a question or two. We are already booked for next year & can’t wait to return! Thank you Julie for another wonderful stay in your special home away from home! "
