"Popped into Wallace to spend the night before biking the Hiawatha trail and found the newly remodeled Brooks. Classy decor and a comfortable king bed made our stay great. "
"I liked the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the motel.
Although, the rooms had a coffee maker in them, the coffee drinkers thought that there should be a brewed pot of coffee in the lobby with the continental breakfast. I thought there should have been tea or hot chocolate in the rooms or out in the lobby. Not everyone drinks coffee."
Quaint historic mining town nestled in the mountains between two ski resorts.
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean house, perfectly located for biking & the walk to downtown was approximately 4 houses. Yet it was still quiet & relaxing. Many excellent restaurants. Super helpful host. They have everything you could think of needing. If I went back, I'd stay a week."
"Donna was a delight! The room was darling and immaculate. Windows open for summertime breeze, perfect temperature at night. Only downside, highway traffic noise at night."
"The Shanty was a perfect location for our trip to Idaho. We brought our bicycles to ride the Hiawatha and Coeur d’Alene Trail. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed comfortable, the living room had an excellent TV, and the WiFi worked well. We appreciated having a washer and dryer for our cycling clothes as well. The grocery store was right across the street and the charming town of Wallace (a short drive away) had many restaurants. We rode our bikes directly to the CDA trail every day. In short- the perfect VRBO home away from home."
