Convent little place to stay while driving along the coast. Bed was a bit rough, and it was cold in the room. We couldn’t figure out how to make it warmer

This inn overlooks the golf course. It is near the RAF base so can be noisy if they are doing any flight training exercises. We heard planes when we first arrived around 4:00 pm but nothing after that. The contactless check in was a little confusing as the e-mail instructions landed in my junk mail. After discovering the stray message with the instructions all went smoothly getting into the inn. There is limited off street parking.

Loved the room, especially the big window with an amazing view of the golf course and the sea... beautifull! However, there was also a little window opposite the double bed where the light would come in the morning and wake me up!! Pls put a black out curtain! Everything was great. I am looking forward for breakfast being served in the building.

Simple but effective room only accommodation
Last minute booking, but happy overall. Perfect if you need a no frills room for the night that is perfectly located for exploring Lossiemouth. Note there is no reception or catering provided at the Inn, but these are supported by the sister hotel in Lossiemouth.

What a view!
Self catering: location overlooking golf course, then the sea front - sensational. Next door Golf Links Hotel recommended for evening meal.

Excellent stay
Stayed here for one night with my partner, we booked the exclusive double room and it was lovely. Good value for money. Included a little kitchen area and was a good sized room and bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable. Really nice hotel next door for drinks and food.
The bedroom with TV, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Long standing mirror too.
Little kitchen area with decent sized fridge.
Large bathroom.

Pleasant Stay
Poseidon’s inn is in a good state of repair. The room was spacious and had a small fridge. There was a shower and jacuzzi bath in my en suite bathroom. The downside was that the doors were auto closing and I was woken every night / early hours of the morning by other guests allowing the doors to slam. There are 14 rooms in the property but the car park accommodates 5 cars so other guests have to park on the street which can be very busy at times with the local golf club situated next to the property. There are nice views from the property with it being close to the coast. When I arrived at the property, I got my room keys from a lock box situated next to the main door. The reception is only available during working hours so I informed the staff that I would probably arrive after it was closed.

Great last minute find!
Managed to get a room here last minute night before Lossie Fest. Easy check-in, clean and spacious room with great views of the sea and planes! No on-site facilities (which we new of), but recommend Golf View (next door) for food and drinks and Beach View for breakfast. Both minutes walk away!

The hotel is basic no food and keypad entry. The rooms were clean and tidy. One window which had a sea view was steamed up in the triple glazing so no view was possible. Ok but expensive for a room not a hotel in my opinion.

Love this place but a bit disappointed this time
Have been here a few time , things disappointed with in room. Bad Wi-Fi No room care , empty bin , biscuits etc No hook in bathroom to hang clothes . No where to hang towels . I love this place because of view but a bit disappointed this time .

Fantastic propert - I love the way that you are left alone, there is plenty of help available but you just don’t need it - you have everything you need and lovely bright rooms!

Excellent, great place to stay in Lossiemouth.
Stayed for two nights. Check in was via a keybox which was simple. The room was large as was the bathroom. Great view overlooking the 18th green of Moray Golf Course. Its clear a lot of money has gone into the decor, furniture and indeed the whole property. We would absolutely stay here again when in Lossie. Meals available next door at the golf view hotel or a breakfast can be delivered to your room.

Great views
Wrong room allocated . However told that they have a few king size rooms . The website shows king size is the only room with the hot tub on the balcony. Otherwise okay but disappointed. They need to make this clear on their website entry. The positive is the spectacular views and sunset each evening. Only 2 hangers to hang up clothes . No drinking glasses only 2 cups supplied. Bonus is a small fridge in the room.
