Good place to host inside it if you're travelling around Vega Baja del Segura localities. Huge swimming pool and awesome bungalows for sleeping in them. The weak point is the high price and not very high quality of the food in the restaurant. Excellent attendance of all staff.

Charmingly rustic

No frill basic accommodation. Comfy bed, fantastic aircon, dated bathroom which could do with updating. Got the impression this place is a work in progress, which is totally fine as it has so much potential. In order to achieve this they need to get the staffing levels correct and get all services up and running. Pool is a big asset. We enjoyed it and would definitely return. Nothing fancy but a nice retreat away, plus they are pet friendly which was a big bonus!

It is a beautiful place so stay: it is in nature. Rooms and other amenities are excellent. You need a car to go to the beach.

Great place to stay, eat and friendly atmosphere

The El Rancho is an excellent place to stay. The staff are freindly and polite. The room is clean and the log cabin we used is cooled by a air conditioner, which in the hot summer months is most welcome. The pool is a large size and very clean. The food is of good quality All in all a great place to stay. I noticed that there is a sauna and grounds to play bowls. Free onsite parking is also available.

Fantastic :-)

A fantastic staff who provide the maximum service they can. Clean and neat rooms where you can open the double doors to the balcony, so everyone can be together. Very good food prepared by the chef and served with a smile and presence by the waiters. Everyone was very nice to our dog, who was doing incredibly well.

This hotel was closed. It just reopen when we arrived. No professional personnel, just guards, cold, dirty, disgusting. We had to go and find another hotel. We just have been ripped out. We should have knew because this hotel isn't proposed a cancellation procedure

Bad experience

The hotel wad closed and in total dakness. We met some guests having a party in front of their room and asked about the reception. They said it was closed and they don't answer the phone until they arrive at 8am. We reserved the other hotel and the night was saved. It is pretty unpleasant to sit on the dark parking lot in front of the closed hotel, with small kids in the car

El Rancho 2 nights

To start, we went to check in and they didn't really speak to us, took us straight to a cabin, had problems with the door code but that was resolved quickly. The room was nice, AC worked well which was appreciated in the heatwave. The bathroom could do with an upgrade, rusty shower holder, but perfectly useable. We stayed for 2 nights, we had lunch here on the 2nd day, food was good and the waitress that was serving us did her best to communicate with us, we don't speak Spanish and she didn't speak English (not that we expected her too). Google translate helped us through. We all enjoyed the pool, it was lovely and warm and big enough for our boys to splash around without bothering anyone. There was no-one around when we checked out, but we did leave at 7:30am. We went into Torrivieja both evenings, only a 15 minute drive away, which was really handy. Overall a good location and a hotel/venue with huge potential.

Poor experience

We made them aware we wouldn't check in untill 11pm. We were told it's fine. Nobody was there. There was no lighting on the grounds and we struggle to find contact details. It took us over an hour to get in contact and nearly 2hours to get details. Nobody came to meet us and just what's append me details. It took us a further 20mins to find accommodation and get in. I was with my elderly parents and 12year old daughter, not a very good experience at all

A notre arrivées... le désert village fantômes éclairage allumée en plein jour... le code pour ouvrir ne fonctionne pas.... heureusement l'appartement voisin et unique locataire avant notre arrivées nous aide en tel au propriétaire qui avoue avoir fait erreur de programmation... télévisions sans antenne... coupure d 'eau le soir et manque de pression quand il y en avait... bref toiles d'araignée sous le lit et ds les murs ... seul le wifi nous était confié... Ds l'ensemble la chambre étant grande et bien aménagée matelas confortable la clim fonctionne mais très bruyante... a vous de voir bonne nuit.!!!

Yderst skuffende hotel.

Steder var totalt forladt, ingen ansatte udover en enkel ung mand som vi så et par gange under vores ophold. Grunden var misligeholdt, poolen var snavset og ingen af de aktiviter som stedet reklamerede med, fandtes. Ingen spa, ingen ridning og ingen restaurent. Der blev afholdt nogle private arrangementer på stedet men det var udefrakommende gæster. Der boede ingen andre end os. To gange var der intet vand i bruseren. Værelset var dog pænt og nogenlunde rent. Jeg vil skrive en direkte mail og bede om et tilgodebevis eller pengene tilbage.
Området var forsømt og man trådte i nedfaldsfrugt og blade.
Misligeholdt.
Snavset pool som vi ikke brugte trods 35 grader. Den var for ulækker.

Alojamiento mejorable. Cuesta encontrar la habitación a pesar de las indicaciones del personal, porque no hay carteles que te vayan guiando. Las sábanas no estaban todo lo limpias que hubiésemos deseado, tenían algunas manchas (no sabemos si por un mal lavado o porque ya están para retirar del servicio). La cortina del baño desastrosa, súper sucia y mohosa en la parte inferior. Deberían revisarlas y lavarlas o cambiarlas periódicamente. Las cabañas de madera son acogedoras, pero bastante espartanas y en la nuestra había un par de agujeros de gran tamaño en la pared. El aislamiento es insuficiente y se oye mucho el ruido de otras habitaciones y del exterior de la cabaña.
