"Fabulous staff, rooms, bathrooms. We loved the bar service to beds at the lovely swimming pool, the gardens were a spectacular surround for the rooms and pool. We ate in the restaurant once - it was great. The local restaurants are about 5 mins walk away, or a short public bus ride (2-3 stops) to the marina for very very fresh fish. We loved it all and we will return. A special thanks to everyone who gave us great service- esp Lord Nelson."

"Really good location, the view from the room was beautiful and the park place was easy to find. Breakfast was a bit surprising because that wasn’t like normal hotel breakfast. The restaurant was like some local cafeteria and we didn’t get any menu but the waiter told what we can get for the breakfast. There wasn’t too many options but it was okay. Overall the stay was really nice and perfect for us!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Los Barros?
The best time to visit Los Barros is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) months.

These periods offer consistently pleasant weather, with warm temperatures and less rain than the winter, and fewer crowds than the peak summer season. This makes it ideal for couples and families looking to enjoy the island's natural beauty without the hustle and bustle.

For those interested in hiking and outdoor activities, spring is particularly good as the island's flora is in full bloom, making the volcanic landscapes and coastal paths especially scenic. The sea temperatures are also comfortable enough for swimming during these months.

If you're seeking a quieter, more relaxed trip, the shoulder months of May, June, September, and October are perfect.
