  • This is a magnificent one bedroom condo with two beautiful bathrooms, both with large walk in showers, right on the Sea of Cortez at the Villas De Cortez in the Van Wormer Resorts. Walk out your sliding glass door and you are steps to the pool. Then down a few steps to the Sea of Cortez. First floor units are a big plus in this building, since you do not have to use stairs or elevator to access pool area.

    Location of this building is in a perfect location, since you can WALK to the Heart of Los Barriles in minutes. Two grocery stores are very close as well as many great, inexpensive restaurants. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

    There are two queen sized beds in the bedroom, and a sofa and a big futonin the living room. So the unit can sleep 6 comfortably, if 2 in each queen. This condo is in the Villas de Cortez Unit #1105.

    This is a well wonderful price for this unit. This unit rents from the Management company for $320 to $380 per night or more.. Our rates are based from $250 per night plus Mexican taxes, which can vary for high and low seasons, plus a modest cleanup fee at departure (around $75 US). Los Barriles is a quiet village with many good casual inexpensive restaurants, and affordable shops. A great place for a couples get a way or a family vacation on the ocean in luxury. I will provide a list of recommended restaurants prior to arrival or in the white notebook in the unit..

The location is amazing, and being able to walk out to the pool from the space was perfect with small kids. The unit itself could use a bit of upkeep/upgrades, but everything worked and we were overall very happy with our stay and the communication with the owner when required .

The condo is in the perfect location to enjoy all of what Los Barriles has to offer, pool, beach, town and restaurants. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions or needed assistance. We enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back.

Love Los Barillas and the property and location were excellent. Very comfortable and the staff at Bay View took great care of us. We felt very safe all hours of the day, although we would suggest that there is a way to change the access code to the property and that there was a safe.

This condo is in a perfect location, as it is in walking distance to grocery shopping, the downtown area, for restaurants and bars. The condo is right on the beach area, with a restaurant about 50 steps from the door. It had everything we required for over a 8 week stay. Palmas condo

Location, location. Ground floor unit right off pool and bar. The unit was nice, air conditioning worked great. Unit was well appointed but is starting to look a little tired inside. Did not really affect us but it could some. Nice little washer and dryer, plenty of bedding pillow and towels. There are two double beds an air mattress and couch. Overall we had a good time.

Princess and the Pea

The location was perfect. Watching the sunrise most mornings is what I enjoy the most when I'm in LB. Unfortunately I needed to pay attention to the comments in regard to the beds. Both mattresses in the bedroom were beyond extra firm, and my husband made an additional mattress layer for me with all the extra pillows; hence the comment princess and the pea. We definitely did not lay in bed this vacation. Our host compiled a list of all of our already favorite restaurants and having an automated lock made the check-in/check-out process much simpler. The only suggestion I would make is that there are directions provided with check-out; i.e. what do we do with the sheets, towels, etc. I appreciate the stay and the access to all of our favorites in LB!

Great location. But…

We have stayed in this building several times. We love the location. I was not going to leave a review; however I was prompted to do so by VRBO. I should preface this by say as a contractor and property manager myself I am pretty easy going about “stuff happens” and I am reluctant to leave negative reviews, however this unit was not prepared for our arrival no beds or bedding for our children. I was unable to reach the owner by phone or text throughout our trip. He did respond through the app after we rented another room to fit our family. The unit is listed as suitable for up to 8 people. Not even close. There are two very hard double beds. Listed as queens. There are air mattresses. However they were locked in a cabinet we did not have access to until the next day. There was no bedding for the air mattresses. The fridge and freezer smelled so bad like fish it stank up the house when opened. The oven was broken. The internet didn’t work. The owner was not at all concerned or apologetic. We could have rented a unit that would have fit our family with comfortable beds. Instead we had to rent another unit a mile away so we could all be comfortable. In my opinion the listing should be updated to reflect actual conditions. The beds should be upgraded. It is in a prime location.

This property was as awesome as described! The ground floor unit is super convenient with just a few steps to the beach and a great view just from the living room. Everything was comfortable and the location was fantastic! We will totally stay here again!
