Hotel 525

Hotel 525

8/10 Good
"Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival, and throughout our stay. Excellent location for local bars, restaurants and to get to the beach. Rooms were spacious, and for the most part clean, but they are looking very tired and need some improvements. Most of the furniture is damaged, with chips out of the wood, or obvious marks /dents. The wallpaper is damaged in several places, especially the toilet where it was damp and peeling off. Beds are large, but the pillows were terrible, and the mattresses were rather firm. No furniture on balcony to sit outside, not sure if there would be in July or August. The pool terrace was a decent size, not massive for the size of the hotel but it had amazing views over the town. The pool needed to be be cleaned, or repainted , it had lots of black bits floating around and couldn't tell if it was leaves or bits of paint from the pool so decided not to use it. If the rooms were updated and the pool area, we would consider returning, but not as it is now."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Los Balcones?
The best area to stay in Los Balcones is generally close to the main commercial areas and amenities for convenience.

The central part of Los Balcones, particularly around the CV-95 road and the larger commercial centres, offers the most convenience. This area is characterised by a mix of residential properties and a good selection of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. It's designed for easy living, with many facilities within a short drive or a pleasant walk.

For those seeking a relaxing holiday with easy access to services, staying near the main commercial hubs is ideal. You'll find a range of eateries, from casual cafes to more formal dining, and several larger supermarkets for all your self-catering needs. This central location also provides good access to public transport links for exploring the wider region.

Families often find the areas with villas and apartments around the larger parks and green spaces particularly appealing. These residential pockets offer a more relaxed setting, often with private or communal swimming pools, and are away from the main road.
When is the best time to go to Los Balcones?
The best time to visit Los Balcones is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for enjoying outdoor activities and exploring the region. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

For those looking to make the most of the region's natural beauty and outdoor pursuits, such as walks around the Laguna Rosa or visits to the nearby beaches, spring and autumn provide comfortable conditions. The sea temperatures are also agreeable for swimming during these times.

Travellers who prefer a livelier atmosphere and don't mind higher temperatures might consider late June to early September.
