"Hotel David was on of our favorite hotels during our recent trip to Italy. The property is charming, clean, and the hotel staff are wonderful! We enjoyed breakfast every morning out on the terrace as well as a wonderful complimentary happy hour. It was a bit of a walk to the main area in Florence, but we enjoy walking when we are traveling so this was not a downside for us, but just a heads up if you want to stay right in the action. We enjoyed the quieter feel of the neighborhood as well. Lovely stay and would highly recommend as well as return for another visit!"

"Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes ! "

"This is truly my favorite place in the world—peaceful, beautiful, and filled with the kindest staff. I’m so glad we found it. I didn’t want to leave and joked with my family that I might just run away and stay forever. The location and scenery are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed fantastic meals during our stay—even though the Michelin-starred restaurant wasn’t open, the other dining options were exceptional."

"Gorgeous property. Be prepared to walk a lot. Wear comfortable shoes. Food was amazing. Many different style rooms. Go with friends. We were there for a wedding. "

"Absolutely incredible trip. The hotel was stunning. The grounds, the pool area, the decor, the rooms, all of it was absolutely spotless and beautifully done. The service was amazing, nothing was an issue and everyone was so lovely. Location wise it is around 10/15 minutes in a taxi into the city centre. You have the best of both worlds. The hotel feels like you are in the countryside with beautiful surroundings but yet so close to the city. We will definitely return. "

"Overall good stay through out my business trip. The only downside is the hotel located quite the outskirt of the city center. Needed to walk at least 10-15 minutes 1km everytime go for lunch or dinner. Other than that, all good for my stay."
