This hotel, and Carthage itself, are never going to be destination vacation locations for anyone. That being said, it's a great stop between point A or point B, or for the various work crews that maybe make it home. Nice staff, clean, odor-free rooms, and EXCELLENT water pressure in the shower. Everything but glitz.

This was a very clean property and easy access. The staff was very friendly. We did not stay long but had no issues at all. It was a very quiet place.

Great stay, only negative is no restaurants in walking distance. I was towing a trailer and did not want to drive to nearby restaurants and deal with parking truck and trailer

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great with a wide variety of healthy options. Room was very nice. Can't think of anything I would have changed. Lots of places to plug in your devices. Great value for the price.

It was just an overnight stay on a long trip. I could tell that this was an older property, next to a truck stop. It had been cleaned up and refurbished, but still had the look, smell and feel of a lower range property. It was clean and the staff was excellent. I was comfortable and slept well and breakfast was appreciated. I wouldn’t want to vacation here, but I was happy in that it provided me with what I needed.

The facilities were ok. The room was acceptable for the area. The bathroom smelled musty. The pool was closed due to the over abundance of rain in the area. The breakfast was ok, we had to have them refill the waffle mix and bacon.

Great stay!

This hotel was very nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We didn’t have the breakfast but it was available. Too early for the pool but they do have one. It was quiet and close to everything. The square has a lot of shopping and a new brewery. If we pass through this town again I would definitely stay again. Kiara at the desk was very friendly and helpful. footprints statue was very beautiful and a nice place to relax and pray.

Room was very clean, looked as if it had been recently painted and had relatively new carpet. Fixtures were older, but clean and functional. The only thing that wasn't great was the water pressure. Nonetheless, the water was hot and necessary toiletries were furnished. The bed and bedding were sufficient and the mattress was good and firm. The room we had was on the top floor and very quiet. The heater worked great and was very quiet.

Rooms were seemingly clean and no other issues EXCEPT: when a reviewer says “Bedbugs” in all caps, don’t think it was a one-off and take your chances like we did. Got home with many a BEDBUG bite. Please management- take care of this issue!!!

Recently painted and quality was POOR with paint over rolling on the floor and paint splatter on phone and other areas. Paint on the phone made it look like a "C" not a "O" so called the wrong number. TV did not work, front office gal did come by to see if she could fix it made a call and reset the TV and finally did work. Entire TV fiasco took about 35 minutes. Gal in the office was very customer service oriented. Breakfast was about a 3 out of 10, quality of the "buffet" items were pretty poor quality. Will not be staying there again!

A decent stay

Internet access was poor to none. There were bugs in the ice in the ice machine. The cold water out of the tap never got colder than tepid. Otherwise, all was good and clean. Outside noise level was surprisingly quiet in spite of our room being on the truck stop side.
