"What a great place! To have a kitchen and washer/dryer was exactly what we needed PLUS what a cute house!! Everything was super clean and well maintained. And we loved the bunnies hanging out in the yard! We noticed the sauna on the last day, so we didn’t get to ask if we could use them - but what a great little addition. We totally look forward to returning in the future. MAHALO!"

"Best Western Lake Lucille is a very lovely property. The staff were all very friendly with dining tips, activity ideas and snacks. The hot breakfast was great and sent us off for the day with treats for snacking. Our lake view room was standard in size but had a beautiful view of the lake and freshly manicured property. The Chop House was a little pricey but the appetizers and pub grub were tasty and filling. The restaurant was closed on our second day (Tuesday) which was a little disappointing. Overall loved it!"

"This is hands down the best vacation I’ve ever had. I’ve never been to Alaska before and this was the perfect place for my sons and I to stay. The hot tub was just steps away and always nice and hot. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. I will hopefully bring my daughters back one day. Thank you for everything, we made great memories at your cabin."

"We just needed a place to sleep and have breakfast each day before joining family. This little cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, well-cared for, and quiet. The host was polite and friendly. We had a lovely stay."

"I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and would absolutely come back.The space was exactly what we were hoping for: cozy, quiet, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing getaway. After days out exploring Alaska, it was such a treat to come back in the evenings, settle in, and just enjoy the calm atmosphere. The cabin struck a perfect balance between feeling tucked away and still being easy to access.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. The layout worked great for us, and we especially appreciated how comfortable and welcoming the space felt right away. It never felt like a “rental,” more like a place you could actually unwind.The location was also ideal for us. It’s close enough to Wasilla and an hour and 15 minutes from the anchorage airport, but still peaceful and quiet. It made for a really relaxing pace to the trip.Overall, this was exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find, and it played a big part in making our vacation so enjoyable. Highly recommended!"
