"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s nicely nestled in the woods, which made it feel private and relaxing, but still very convenient to everything we needed. The location was great—just a short drive to the Menard Sports Center, which made getting there super easy and quick.The place was comfortable, well-kept, and exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Long Lake Slice of Heaven. It was serene and quiet.During my stay the lake froze over and I had the experience of walking out on it. The sky was full of stars every night it was clear. My stay was a really peaceful experience."

"I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean"

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and would absolutely come back.The space was exactly what we were hoping for: cozy, quiet, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing getaway. After days out exploring Alaska, it was such a treat to come back in the evenings, settle in, and just enjoy the calm atmosphere. The cabin struck a perfect balance between feeling tucked away and still being easy to access.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. The layout worked great for us, and we especially appreciated how comfortable and welcoming the space felt right away. It never felt like a “rental,” more like a place you could actually unwind.The location was also ideal for us. It’s close enough to Wasilla and an hour and 15 minutes from the anchorage airport, but still peaceful and quiet. It made for a really relaxing pace to the trip.Overall, this was exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find, and it played a big part in making our vacation so enjoyable. Highly recommended!"
