Perfect escape
My family and I had a fantastic, relaxing time at Aida's house in Long Beach. A morning ritual of heading to the beach and fire pit on the evening was a fantastic way to spend some quality time away from everyday life. The cabin was exactly what we needed and met our needs and expectations and the area was exceptionally quiet and easy going. We have stayed in a number of houses around Long Beach on the past but this house is definitely our favourite. We'll be looking forward to coming back in the future for another relaxing, tranquil getaway.

Perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karels. It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway and had every convenience we needed. The location right on the beach was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again.

Enjoy the the Sound of the surf
Comfortable amenities. The holiday beach house many wished for as a child. There was no hot tub as listed. Relaxing away from the township but close enough to explore the region.

We loved staying right on the beach. The only down side was getting charged in US dollars, which was unexpected. We ended up paying more than expected/quoted, I'm presuming it's due to exchange rate. I liked our stay but not at that price. We won't use this platform again.

We had a wonderful stay at Karel’s. It’s so convenient to have the beach being an extension of the backyard, particularly with an 11months old baby. There is a lot of love in this holiday home and it can be felt. We were relaxed by the sound of the waves, and had picnics on the grassy backyard below the pine tree with a view on the ocean.

Perfect location
We spent all our time in the backyard of the property enjoying the beautiful view and surroundings. Perfect place to set up a backyard picnic right by the beach and have a nice breakfast with a view. The inside was clean and had everything we needed for the night. Hosts were also very accomodating and easy to contact with any questions. Highly recommend and hope to stay again

Wonderful spot
We loved staying at this gorgeous house which is right on the beach. It is immaculately presented and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We loved listening to the ocean as we fell asleep each night. The firepit at the back on the grass in front of the beach was awesome and our young family toasted marshmallows as the sun set. A great spot for a sun downer or ten too. Overall, it's a fantastic place to unwind and just enjoy the south coast. Aida was awesome and really helped us with settling in and choosing nice places to eat etc. Many thanks!

Water views forever
My husband and I stayed at this lovely property for 4 nights. The check-in process was so easy with an email being sent with all the details required a few days before our stay. When we arrived we were taken aback with the absolutely gorgeous beach view and access from the property. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our getaway. We loved having the modern technology of wi-fi and smart tv as the weather was unfortunately not on our side but as the house was so comfortable it didn’t matter. Bateman’s Bay was only 10 minutes drive away and we found ourselves driving around Long Beach visiting the many Roos and birds (swamp hens) that reside in the little community. One of the best features of the house was the extremely comfortable king sized bed. I haven’t slept so soundly and listening to the waves helped us relax as well. Thank you for having us and we hope to come back again when the sun is shining a little more.

A lovely Beachside Getaway
Home is well presented, with the essentials provided. The best part is waking up to the bay right in front of you! Netflix and Wifi all setup for the nights and rainy days.

Review
Our stay was lovely and restful. The view was great. We love our stay, however, one thing that ruined it was due to the place is infested with ants from the first night on our arrival. All the kitchen were infested with thousands of ants from day one of our stay. We have to spray at least four times a day and still they came out in thousands in cabinets, all kitchen walls and dinning table. The place needed an urgent update pest control for ants.

Hi Anna Thank you for your review however I’m disappointed and somewhat perplexed regarding your review. During your 5 day stay you never contacted me regarding the supposed issue with ants which I don’t understand. If it was such as issue why would you not reach out. Our home undergoes pest control each year and this year it was completed in January 2022. I don’t understand why you would not call me if you noticed such a large infestation of ants! You spent 5 days in our property and it is only by reading your review you decided to mention this supposed infestation. I endeavoured to call you several times after your stay once reading the review and to this date I have not been able to contact you. We take pride in presenting a highly spotless home. Our professional cleaning staff attended our home the morning of your stay to sanitise and clean our property for your stay. On departure the cleaning staff also did not see any ants in the property. I’m wondering if perhaps you may have left food out and that attracted the ants. I’m glad you loved your stay at our home and enjoyed the magical view. However next time if there is an ant infestation in any property that you visit, I would suggest you contact the owner first so they can fix the problem before leaving such a review.

Fantastic Christmas Stay
We spent Christmas at this property and it was fantastic! The location was great with Long Beach in its backyard. There was a nice fire pit and outdoor seating which we enjoyed! The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything we needed to cook a huge Christmas meal. Plenty of space inside to dine and lounge about. Very nice of the host to provide additional items like coke cans and noodles. The place was everything we could've asked for. Unfortunately the only downside was an additional charge after we already booked and paid for the place for more COVID cleaning. Communication with the host was reasonably fast.

Aida was a great property host, she made sure we were able to contact her for anything as well as keeping in contact with us until our check in. The property is well maintained and perfect to be cosy inside or walk along the beach right outside, we enjoyed seeing quite a few kangaroos go across the backyard as we overlooked the beach. Property is located at a perfect location, just few steps from the backyard to the beach. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great walking strip along the beach with unforgettable view. Amazing biodiversity with small octopuses, toad fish and crabs living in the rock pools nearby. Will definitely visit again.

Absolute waterfront - Great for kids!
Great location and well appointed. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Only small criticism is that there is no outdoor area to enjoy the view and have meals or a quiet drink at the end of the day. This will not prevent us from returning, but it certainly would improve the experience.

We had a lovely stay! The location was perfect. There are not many places you can stay that are right on the beach. The fire was lovely! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We were even given late check out which was such a treat! Thank you! We would love to stay again.

Hi Pradip Thank you for your review. We used to have a fire pit however for safety reasons we have had to remove it. We are looking at other ways to include a fire pit in the future on the beach side verandah which is being built this year. Due to COVID and fires last year we have had to wait. It does state there is one big large bathroom in the description and the air conditioner is in the main area as well. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have you return again. Thanks Aida

Wonderful staycation in a wonderful beachfront property!
This was our second stay at this lovely property. Very clean and cosy with all the creature comforts of home. Right on the beach for passing the time in the surf with the kids and fishing for dinner. Seven days of total relaxation and bliss. With Batemans Bay a quick drive away for fresh oysters and the best fish and chips, finished by yummy ice cream. Thank you, Aida. The house is a beautiful house with the seaside atmosphere and the views are a not to miss feature. It is well equipped and maintained. Love this house and the atmosphere and being close to the ocean is another feature that my wife and I love about it. Definitely the house to be in at Longbeach.
