"Fantastic location... the cliffside preserve, decks, and semi-private beach access were wonderful. Enjoyed sunset on the Pergola deck and spent the evening listening to the crashing waves. The views are amazing. The Guest House is eclectic and comfortable. My son loved the loft area. It's close to town and all of the Samuel L Boardman sites. The host Adele was very accommodating and informative about the area and the property. Next time I am in Brookings, I will definitely stay here again."

"The cabin was nice, but had a couple minor issues. The inside was clean; it was modest, but comfortable, and suitable for my very limited needs. Two of the kitchen eating area windows were missing their blinds. The deck and gutters were on the weather-beaten side and could really use some TLC. I did not use the hot tub or grill, and have no opinion on those features. When I arrived, I had no idea how to find my cabin. The layout of the park is a bit confusing if you've never been there before, and the signage is not very clear. I called the host (around 6:00 p.m. on a weekday), but they could not be reached, which was a stressful experience. I did finally did discover the small billboard map of the property posted in the upper parking lot thanks to a friendly resident. It would have been very helpful to know that the map was there before I arrived. Including a map and directions would be perfect if added to the check-in instructions.The cabin does have quite a bit of privacy, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good value and I enjoyed my stay."
Marvelous 1-bedroom cottage with AC in charming Brookings

"It was kind of confusing getting into the gate to enter the home. we also parked outside the gate and the neighbor came over and told us we were on her property and had to pull the car into the gate (whoops) other than that the place was great. beds were comfy. hot tub was amazing. plenty of games to play. close by to a lot of restaurants and stores. very cool place as there was even an outdoor shower and toilet in an outhouse kind of thing we used after the hot tub!"
