Overall this was a great stay. It was pretty quiet even though it’s very near the busy Wandsworth Rd and the 87 bus stops like a 1min walk away which was very convenient. There are 2 other rooms with guests staying off the same main hall and it wasn’t clear to me from the listing that the kitchen was a separate shared space with those other rooms. I couldn’t find the laundry.

The accommodation description is totally misleading. What was advertised was incorrect on so many levels. The shower and kitchen water were cold. I had to fix the TV so it would work; I had to re-wire the coax. The fridge was warm and needed to be repositioned for the door to close properly. Another job that I did.The patio was unusable because the whole area was overgrown with weeds, bricks, and rubbish. The bed mattress was one of the worst I have ever seen, covered in hair and damp, with a horrendous stain- absolutely disgusting. There was no washing machine or dryer, iron or ironing board as listed in the property description. We were offered a laundry service; this is no use to us as our clothes needed to be segregated: colours, whites; we also needed certain items washed and dried for the next day.We booked accommodation to suit our needs and dietary needs, and what we like to do.The accommodation was unbearably hot; no fan. We spoke to another one of the guest neighbours, who said they had to buy their own fan as the owner would not provide one. We didn't bother to ask as we knew the answer.We met two of the cleaners who were very polite and helpful as they could be. The property is in need of a lot of maintenance. It does not reflect what it is advertised as. Very disappointed and upset as it spoiled our stay in London.
