Helaas....

Hotel is slecht, hygiene was slecht we hebben onze kamer dan maar zelf schoongemaakt met javel! Maar eerlijk op eerlijk de personeel waren daar erg vriendelijk behulpzaam en zeer bezorgd als we eens erg laaat thuis kwamen stonden ze al voor de deur de wachten tot we veilig terug binnen komen SUPER! Maar hotel kan eigenlijk een super hotel zijn als ze iets meer naar de hygiene kijken en wat vernieuwen. MINPUNT de hotel ligt in een zigineur wijk en elke dag zijn er veeel zigineurs wat er zitten en ook je soms lastigvallen!!

Bad bad bad

Booked me the wrong type of room. Changed it but the place was really dirty. Plug sockets didn’t work so couldn’t charge phone. Shower mouldy. Floor in front of toilet rotten to the point of collapse. What I can only describe as blood and nosedirt wipes on side of divan. Hairs in the bed. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in by a long way. A total dump. I’d ask for a refund but I can’t be bothered as everyone who stays there must ask for one and I can only assume they never give them otherwise they would have gone out of business a long time ago. In short a dirty disgusting cackhole that I would let my Ex wife stay in.

Awful place to stay

It was the worst hotel I have ever been to with my friends. We decided to leave as the condition of the hotel was unacceptable and we were not feeling safe.

Nice

Nice hotel although we all found the mattresses in the beds a little too hard which made it difficult to sleep but apart from that it was a good place to stay x

Poor hotel

This hotel is far below the basic standards, shared bathrooms that have not toiletry facilities such as toilet paper, broken bath panels and electrical wires that are not connect. The room are far from perfect with nothing but dirty linen and stained carpets, noisy through the night. The hotel was basically a building site. I will not be staying there again

Convinant hotel

Hotel could do with a refurbishment it was adiquert for a night but there was no remote for the TVs no spoons for the coffee the hot tap dropped al night and the road noise was intrusive but for the price it was ok

Worst hotel of my life.

Cold room. Old beds. Damaged wall in room. Train noise all night. Nasty customers in bar. No hotel kitchen - had to use horrible take-away. Worst hotel of my life.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at

There was poo in the toilet Receptionist tried to rip us off and make me pay and extra 50 Drunk dodgy men everywhere Lock on my bedroom didn't work Left after 3 minutes of being there and booked another hotel The worst hotel me and my family have EVER seen !!!!!

Mary Rose inn stay March 2017

Very old although in the the process of being freshened up. The floor boards were very creaky and the first night we were kept awake all night by someone pacing back and forth above for the whole night. The second night we stayed in the above room and were very wary about disturbing those below for the same reason.

You should not be promoting this hotel on e-booker

Arrived after a 3 hour journey at 10.30pm to be greeted by 5 drunk men in reception who proceeded to jibe myself and my teenage daughter and pretended to be staff and check us in. Not a good start. Eventually the real member of staff turned up and we were directed outside to get to our room and went up the stairs, which had a dismal dirty carpet and cigarette butts strewn along the way. The room was reasonably decorated but void of furniture, cold and uninviting and hadn't been thoroughly cleaned as we found a false nail on the floor. The mattress had a nasty stain on it. We were not able to open our window due to health and safety reasons! The bathroom/toilet was out on the landing and the landing light was not working. My daughter did not want to leave the room on her own to visit the bathroom. We did not stay for breakfast as we did not want to encounter anything else unpleasant.

It was really terrible in Orpington

I was first place in a room where the bathroom door does not shut. The front door was not secure because it could easily be open from the outside without a key. The appalling situation is that we were given a room upstair where it could be accessed by my disable son without great difficulty. When I complain about it I was told there was nothing can be done about it. The next day I threaten to leave the hotel, that's when I was given a room on the lower floor. That where I encountered the problem with bedbugs which left me with buds bits all over my body. I talk to Expedia customer service, who only offered a £50 pound vouch. We did not sleep last two nights of our stay in the hotel. We had to find alternative accommodation. I am very disappointed with the Expedia's response because they book you at a place and when trouble comes, they leave you to swim or drown. for this reason, I will never recommend Expedia nor Mary Rose DIRT hotel to any one again.

You get what you pay for

Cheap hotel, warm, clean bedding and towels. Staff very pleasant, other hotel guests very noisy. Hotel room smelt of stale smoke.Shower had obviously been abused, floor boards creaked , no sound proofing in rooms, so sleep was interrupted, door had obviously been kicked open as lock was quite loose, slept with the chair against it for safety . However it is half the price of other hotels so, you get what you pay for, but take ear plugs!

Unfit for purpose and a serious fire hazard!

The complex has a lot of wood in the structure and Fire exits include stairs and corridors that would be hazardous for guests lacking in fitness. 'En suite' meant the bathroom was outside the bedroom, through a creaky door and off the landing. Hopefully number 37 was the worst room they had - as a former head of maintenance at a large international hotel I was appalled and don't think such premises should be included among those you off to enquirers.

Poor room

All we wanted in a hotel was a decent bed and a good shower. This room failed on both with an awful bed with springs coming through and a shower that trickled and went scolding hot than cold. To aerial cable kept popping out. All needs updating

The hotel was close to the station, the staff was very helpful.The first room wasn't very clean , but the second one was quite good.The neighbours were rather noisy.The room has a kitchenette and good tea services.
