Cash only, Good chance of Eviction! Stay clear!
Where do I start?! Upon arrival, the landlord told me they didn't accept card payments or cheques, cash only, so had to go down to the cash point to pay him. The room was basic but good enough for three working guys, but the smell from all of the bathrooms and toilets was terrible. Although the windows were double glazed, the traffic noise was really bad and went on all night. When we returned the following night, we were met by two guys who told us we couldn't enter as the building was being repossessed and were in the process of changing the locks. We eventually convinced them to allow us to collect our cases etc and were escorted up to the room and back out, in all of the commotion we all left stuff behind, towels etc but weren't allowed back in again. We phoned the number on the door and the owner told us we could stay next door, so we went in there, bolted the doors, just in case they repossessed that building too and spent another night listening to the traffic. Met a French Couple on the stairs who had booked for their honeymoon visit to London and felt sorry for them, at least we were just working there. I doubt if it'll be around for much longer, but my advice would be, spend the extra £ and avoid this place like the plague, before you catch it there.
