"The woman in the front office was very kind and friendly. She even gave us an upgrade to a larger room at no extra charge. She was flexible and let us check in early. The room itself was spotless and everything worked. It had a complete kitchen with everything we needed to cook several meals. The bathroom even had a bidet attachment which is often unavailable when travelling. The hotel's windows had stunning views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful and there is even a pool and area to sit and picnic (or drink) on the hill of the property overlooking the lake. This hotel is listed as "pet friendly" and it is, but we were pleasantly surprised that there were no animal odors or fur in our room. Again, it was spotless. I can't say enough for the yellow cat (one of the owner's themes) Los Gualles (etc.) Hotel in Pucón. "

"Spacious room, beautiful view of Lago Villarrica. Good breakfast, though a bit heavy on the carbs. Staff was helfpul, though most had limited English--Apple Translate definitely helped. Steep, long, narrow driveway from highway up to hotel was a little intimidating, but luckily we never encountered another vehicle on it. Very good value for the price. "
