"I had been travelling for 12 hours when I arrived at the hotel and was tired. Check in was quick and straight forward. The Hotel is an older property but is well kept and the rooms are comfortable with everything I needed for my 2 night stay. The Location of the hotel is outstanding being directly opposite the beach with stunning views. "

"Die Beschreibung der Schlafräume stimmt nur für den Raum 1 (Doppelbett). Das Schlafzimmer zwei ist NUR für kleine Kinder geeignet, da das Etagenbett nur eine Länge von 170cm hat. Darauf wird nirgendwo hingewiesen. Die Zugangstür hat eine Höhe von 170cm! Das Schlafzimmer 3 (Annex) hat dagegen 2 Etagenbetten mit je unten Liegefläche für 2 Personen und oben je 1 Person. Dafür passt auch noch gerade 1 Stuhl rein, so das es für mehr als 1-2 Personen sehr schwierig wird, Kleidung mal...

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️ "
