"Loved staying at this Comfort Inn location. It was near the Lake Kaweah and Sequoia National Park Entrance. It also has good food available at walking distance. Overall the stay was good. The only discomfort was the fact that the door from rooms to the Breakfast area narrow and is in the same way of Laundry room and they start their laundry at same time of breakfast so getting in an out of breakfast area was little uncomfortable. But otherwise everything was good."
"Simple, clean and affordable rooms close to NP entrance. I stayed for 2 nights by myself, only needed the room for over night, good base to start your Sequoia trip.
Staying longer or with family I would spend a bit more and stay at one of the more known hotel brands."
"My family and I stayed at Sequioa Hollow for vacation and it was probably the most beautiful vacation home we have experienced. As a LOTR fan, it was incredible - the details of the furniture and decor were incredible. The place was extremely clean, including the laundry room building. The beds were very comfortable too. I was impressed by the landscaping too - they went to every length to make this feel like middle-earth - including Ents scattered throughout the property. The location was great - my kids really loved fishing in the river behind the property. We were able to walk up the street to have dinner as well. It was located close to Sequoia National Park entrance too so it was convenient for us to drive up to the park.Svet made the entire process great and communicated great. Our entire family really enjoyed this home and I highly recommend it."
"Our tween boys said this was their favorite place they have stayed on this trip. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards available for personal use on the lake. We attempted tennis, but learned we are not a tennis family. There was basketball available too and a trampoline. The kids were def loving all of the fun. And the buffet for dinner and breakfast were pretty decent. Desserts were AMAZING! We stayed in one of the personal cabins, which was nice for space and perfect for our family. We also enjoyed s'mores in the evening. Something to note, there is not a great system for your luggage and they offer wheelbarrow type carts to haul your luggage to your room/cabin/etc. It can be quite a haul, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us, might be for some. Any items that were 'dirty' or unkempt were from people leaving things out in places, can't really be the fault of the property. I'd sum this property up as a more camp type of accommodation (which it sounds like their family camp is pretty fun). Overall, I'd stay again and would suggest it for people wanting to visit the park. The location was pretty perfect."
"Location is great especially since it is located just outside of the National park. Great for our tired selves! Three Rivers is a small town and this was a great spot. We checked in just before the staff left for the night so plan ahead timing wise before 9 pm. We even made it to the Riverview restaurant down the road before closing. The room was simple but clean- would have liked to have another towel but didn’t know who to ask.
The beds and covers were comfy and warm. We did have to turn on the AC in the room and it took a few minutes before it cooled the room down. The light blocking blind was very good and we slept in after the busy day before! Simple things like a fridge, microwave and small coffee pot helped us make our own breakfast the next day with what food stuff we still had.
Oh and…Make sure not to leave any food in the car because there are bears in the area and one even checked the large garbage bin just as we arrived!
The River is on the other side of the road and can even be heard at night- very peaceful and the chairs on the balcony were great viewing spots for birds in the morning! There is no direct access to the river- gotta climb over some rocks to do that.
It was a little more per night for the quality of room then I would usually do but location is everything and I’m pretty sure this is their prime summer time."
