Looking for the perfectly located property on the South Shore, with private beach (CROSS BAY) and famous (HORSESHOE BAY BEACH) a 10 min. Walk. THIS IS IT!
Beautifully, TROPICAL decorated with most amenities, located on
a spacious property that overlooks the turquoise waters of Bermuda. On a major bus route to each end of the Island.

Wendell is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable—he knows so much about Bermuda’s history. Talking with him taught me more than I learned in my entire three years living in Bermuda! The studio is very quiet and has its own private entrance. Bus stop is just outside of the building, which is very convenient to go to city of hamilton.

The name says it all. Beautiful spot ro sit and look out to the sea. Great spot for a base to tour the island.Wendell is personable host and a great ambassador for Bermuda with knowledge and information with his tenure as an original Bermudian.

Perfect location. We could walk to multiple beaches and restaurants. We loved the convenience of grabbing the bus and ferries to go Hamilton, St George, and the Dockyard. The property grounds were wonderful for coming back and relaxing after a full day out and two of the nights we were able to watch beautiful lightning storms over the ocean. I’m definitely coming back. I definitely highly recommend this place.

Our stay was wonderful! The best part of our visit to Bermuda was meeting Wendell, the owner. He is friendly, outgoing and was enormously helpful for our first visit to Bermuda. Bermuda can be an expensive place to visit; Wendell's place was comfortable and has a beautiful view of the epic Bermuda skyline at a reasonable cost. There is easy access to a terrific beach, and the central location allows you to take public transportation around the island, including Hamilton. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to take several trips in recent years, and this ranks as one of our best. We hope to visit Bermuda again, and will surely stay here if we can.

We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially enjoying the view from the front lawn of the house.With the bus stop only a few steps to the north and a beach a few steps and a staircase to the south, we really took advantage of the location and enjoyed our time spent in Bermuda.Our host and family were friendly, kind, and we appreciated them so much.We would definitely come back.

Grand Hospitality

The owners are wonderful. The property is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee or wine by the ocean. Access to the private beach was terrific (but lots of stairs). Right on the bus line for the South Road made getting back and forth from Hamilton and the Dockyards a breeze. I loved getting to see the parishes as I rode the bus. Jasmin even took us to the airport when we couldn't get a taxi. We'd love to stay again.

The stunning beauty of the property and the hospitality of Wendell is exactly as you've read in the other reviews. If you want to stay near the beautiful beaches on the South Shore you can't beat it. If you'd like to be within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and nightlife, Hamilton is probably more your speed.

Beautiful spot in Bermuda

Wendell and Xinia were very welcoming and kind. They have a beautiful piece of paradise and we’re lucky they are willing to share. I wish we were still there! The location is great. Within walking distance to a pantry and some restaurants and the bus stop is right out front. Definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks again!

Great location with lovely private beach

The best parts of our stay were the location of this property, the nearby private beach, and the super nice, and helpful host, Wendell. We stayed in a separate, private section of his home, and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. We'd recommend it to a couple seeking a low-key, affordable getaway!

Ocean Comfort

The property is a well appointed, clean and comfortable room with a private entrance, bath and some kitchen amenities (refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, etc.) Quick walk to lovely beach. Wendell is a fantastic host! Highly recommend!

An excellent place to stay!

I stayed a week at Wendell and his family's home and definitely could have stayed longer. This was a great spot for me, as I love having easy access to a beach without a lot of noise/people. I visited the private beach every day of my stay and most nights as well. It was a great spot to watch the stars at night and the Longtails during the day. The road outside can be busy/noisy with traffic at times, but it's also extremely convenient to have the bus stops right there.I would definitely stay again :)

Hope to be back

We stayed 12 days at Whispering Waves And had an excellent time. Wendell, Xinia,and jasmine are a lovely family, with a wealth of knowledge to share about their island. The views from their home are beautiful overlooking the ocean with a large green space. There’s a table for two outside your private entrance. There’s a bus stop in either direction on the road side of the property, we traveled on the bus every day, if you get the bus pass, you can travel from one end of the island to the other and also use it on the ferries for one price.You can’t ask for a better host and his wife, we hope to return againBetty an Terry

Amazing Experience

This was our first trip to Bermuda and the location couldn’t have been better to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Wendell was a great host and extremely helpful in assisting us with making the most of our time there.

Beach side Beauty

The property is so nice with a beachy vibe. The room is cozy with a full bath, dorm fridge, and microwave. The owner and his wife are so delightful. Wendell took us on a very thorough tour of the island showing us places that we would have not seen had we not been with him. The beach is just a little walk down the block and down some stairs. It’s a gorgeous beach! Of course you won’t find any beach less than beautiful in Bermuda. There are really great restaurants within walking distance as well as Horseshoe Bay Beach. This little piece of paradise is located in a very good area and surrounded by some of the best places to eat. You can’t go wrong with this area and stay.

Beautiful Beach

We loved our stay. It had a beautiful beach within a 5 minute walk. There were bus stops right outside our door. There was a private entrance and wonderful spots to sit and enjoy the view on the property. Our host was helpful. He let us drop off our luggage early and gave excellent advice on spots to check out on the island. Highly recommend.

Seaside cottage - private beach

The owner, Wendell is a wealth of information- a local that knows everything and probably everyone. The small hilltop unit is a 2 min walk to a private cove ( down many stairs) for swimming and relaxing . Quaint and quiet location overlooking a breathtaking view. We used the convenient bus stop a few steps away to see everything on the island. We love the south shore location and the friendly hosts.

Wendell is a terrific host. When we mentioned we wanted to do some stargazing, he brought out his telescope and set up chairs with a pitcher of water for us to enjoy. The location can’t be beat. Look forward to coming back.

Amazing location!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Wendell and his family are so friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing. Walk a few hundred yards to Henry’s pantry. Horseshoe Bay beach is about a 15 minute walk. The private beach in front of the property itself is absolutely breathtaking. The bus stop is right outside your door! We highly recommend eating at Devils Isle Cafe. We had an amazing time.

The whispering waves

This property is situated a 15 minutes walk from the beach Horseshoe Bay, and many other lovely beaches. The busstopp is right outside, and the buses take you to the city of Hamilton in 25 minutes, going every 30 minutes. We bought buscards which also included the ferries, so we made it easily around this beautiful island. Friendly hosts!

The owners were a blessing to know and work with.

Beautiful location, clean, neat. The ocean views were amazing. The owners were a kind family and fixed dinner for me on my first night there. They made sure I had what I needed. The weather was rainy and cooler than expected and I did not get much sight seeing in but that’s ok because this was a business trip and I spent most of my time on my computer. Next trip will be more for pleasure and hopefully much warmer.

Bermudaful

Spring Break 2024 and a major rain storm in Miami delayed and cancelled our flight till the next day, losing an night in our stay, an early flight the next day with transportation arranged to the property allowed for our host Wendall to give us a personal tour in his vehicle from Hamilton to the Dockyards, that was so comprehensive and interesting that we were able to ensure getting the most of our remaining time in Bermuda. Wendall was a 5 star saviour with what to do, what to see, and where to eat, it all made our stay very memorable. Bermuda as I quipped is exceptionally picturesque or simply "picture perfect".
