"Leigh & Josh were awesome hosts! They were very responsive throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions on check in/out, things to do, and even helped us out with an early arrival time due to the ferry. Their place was clean and cozy. Within short walking distance is a public park, large water swings, bridge to Russell Island, and the beach. We rented a golf cart which seems almost mandatory for getting around the island. The kayak at the house was also great for exploring the waters in the area! The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful."

"We loved staying at this house! It is probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Roomy and spacious for our family of 4. The beds are extremely comfortable, memory foam. The yard is full of beautiful flowers and fruit trees. Easy walk to the amazingly calm sandbar protected beach. The Food Fair grocery store is just a couple of minutes away and Papa Scoops ice cream is even closer. Highly recommend nightly visits there for ice cream! Candida was great and easy to communicate with, whether it be tips on restaurants, needing to change our taxi time, or just general questions. Always prompt in her responses. Especially when then main AC was not working properly. She handled it very quickly and the owners had it fixed it no time. We even got to meet the owners through the AC repair. They were so wonderful and hospitable, we count it a blessing to have had the chance to meet them! We definitely want to visit Spanish Wells again and stay here!"

Newly Remodeled Estate Directly on the Calm Caribbean w/Pool, Views

"This home is spacious and perfectly positioned for beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining area, and master bedroom. A large covered and open porch overlooks the backyard and the water beyond, with comfortable outdoor furnishings that invite you to relax wherever you sit. Just down a short concrete path is a nice little pool that's great for cooling off while enjoying the ocean view. A bit further along the path, you'll find a striking walkway carved directly into the rock. Inside, we especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with all the appliances we needed. The personal touches were a nice surprise, including fresh limes and mangos picked from the trees on the property's lush grounds. There's plenty of counter space, a sizable dining table, and a large seating area in the living room. The ceiling fans are strong and kept every room comfortable. The newly built cottage has equally impressive views and all the standalone amenities you would want. We spent hours enjoying the pool and the ocean. You can walk straight from the steps out to two long sandbars that keep you in comfortable chest- to waist-deep water, making for easy walks parallel to the shore. We also took the kayak out and loved the easy close-to-shore paddling. If you stay here, we highly recommend Captain Sheldon at Exotic Excursions for a boat outing. He took us exactly where we wanted to go—collecting sea glass, sand dollars, and conch shells. He even brought us to a sandbar where we interacted with stingrays and played on swings right over the crystal-clear water. It was a fantastic experience. As an added bonus, we were fortunate to meet the owners, Stephen and Jill. They were warm and engaging, and we really enjoyed our conversations with them. They were very respectful of our privacy—which we appreciated—but also easy to talk to, so we looked forward to seeing them. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. We'd happily return to Tranquileville and would recommend the home to others. As always, working with Pam at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was a pleasure—she's very responsive and knowledgeable about the island. Thanks, EVR!"

"I really can’t put into words how amazing this house was. The location is perfect - a short golf cart ride to everything, and the best snorkeling steps out your door. The house is perfect for a small family. Sunset views, sunrise views, crystal clear water, no waves, kayaks and SUPs, snorkeling gear… I could go on. Christy is what really sets this property apart from the rest. She helped arrange everything and answered all of our questions for the past 3 months as we planned for this trip. My daughters got to hold starfish right outside their back door, swam with sea turtles, and saw the most amazing sea life right behind the house. TyMan charters was also great to interact with sea turtles and do some snorkeling away from home. Peace and quiet abound - there isn’t a lot of “excitement” on the island. The restaurants were very good (The Vault and Shipyard were our personal favorites) and Papa’s Scoops is a must. We loved just cruising around on the golf cart exploring the island. The Swings over th water are a 4-minute golf cart ride away, and that beach is also very nice. We saw a little reef shark and a barracuda there. There is literally nothing bad to say about this place. It is exactly as Christy describes it and the pictures show, and we will happily be back some day."
