"We returned to the Henann Resort Alona Beach after first visiting in 2016. We were in a room back then and a villa this time around. What a beautiful set up! The bed was fantastic and my wife and I regularly slept 9-10 hours, just what we needed for a holiday break. The fridge was constantly stocked with Coke Zero per our preference, and the bathroom/shower was top tier. A private pool was a perfect spot to cool off and get sand off our feet before entering the bedroom. The property had a great breakfast buffet and we had many meals at Christina's, the on-site restaurant. We spent most of our time on the resort, with one stop at the Bohol Bee Farm, but really, you can just stay at the resort and have a wonderful vacation."

"The staff at Yellow Mango Resort were delightful. A wonderful welcome drink followed by time booking excursions. Rooms were very comfortable - clean, spacious, nice towels and toiletries, fridge, and everything worked (tv, safe, plugs). The main floor terraces with chairs and table were great and the facility was well-groomed (the pool was sparkling clean and the grass was scissor cut at the edges). Breakfast was basic but well-prepared and the staff were very accommodating of my coffee addiction (with milk not creamer). My flight was early morning and staff packed a delicious breakfast for me to take to the airport. Evening snacks were readily available (most were pre-packaged and then heated pizza, spring rolls, etc.) - not the healthiest options but….. The location was great - down a dirt road, quiet (except for the neighbour’s dog), safe and just a ten minute walk to the main shopping/tourist area. It was a good starting point for boating and land tours on the island. It gets my five star rating for a mid-range hotel."

"Highly enjoyed staying in this resort. We wanted a place that is away from noise and a party atmosphere and we got it. The staff are great, room is fantastic, beach amenities are awesome (they offer kayak and gears for free). I would return again. I miss it already. Wifi can be weak at some spots, breakfast prep can be a little loud but its only for a short moment. "

"It is situated nicely and tucked in a quiet neighborhood. The way it was designed the villas and rooms has walk ways and outside nature you could enjoy. The pool is a plus. The cafe and restaurant had a relaxing and quiet feel. It is a reasonable price including breakfast. Also we met a neighbor Alfred who took us a nice private tour. Good job Secret Garden Resort. Keep up the good work! When I visited Bohol again. This is a place to stay. Staff on restaurant was all wonderful and very attentive. "
