"My stay was very much a game of 2 halves. Check in was surprisingly straightforward, from the e-mails I received prior to checking in it sounded like it was going to be a faff and as I was driving towards Rhayder I was regretting my booking and wishing I’d booked somewhere else. As it turns out it was easy , I checked in at the Crown which is literally a stones throw from Ty Morgans, I have walked across hotel car parks further to reach check before. The staff were super friendly and helpful...

"Met up with a friend and stayed in a twin room which, while being dated, was comfortable. Bedding and curtains obviously newly replaced. Shower was hot. Complimentary toiletries were a bit sad - make sure you bring your own. The lift was out of order and the stairs were narrow and steep to the second floor. The pool was nice and we spent time there relaxing. We ate in the bar. Food was tasty and hot. Staff were all very pleasant and service was good. We got a good deal but I wouldn’t pay more."

"The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them."

"Lovely spacious room in a very nice farmhouse. Although off the beaten track, Upper Buckton B&B was easy to find and offered a peaceful nights sleep. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, cooked to order was superb."
