"The staff members were all very helpful, but our room was very tiny and very warm since there was no air conditioning and only a very noisy fan that attempted to keep us a bit cool. The room was historical and unique, which we liked, but it had a few quirks. Having to insert (and keep inserted) a key card for the electricity to stay on was different, but workable once we understood how it worked. The staff were excellent about calling a taxi for us to get to the airport at 4 a.m., but there really is no shuttle. The taxi cost 30 euros at that time, which was a huge amount for the distance traveled. The restaurant served delicious food and wine for dinner and our server was knowledgeable and so helpful explaining the traditional Slovenian dishes and choosing a local wine to our liking."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. A really nice suprise and an excellently presented apartment. The check in was easy. The owners were present, but if not, they had already messaged us with a code for a key lock. There was a nice reception area with enough space to keep 4 large suitcases and a small toilet. From the reception area it led to the living area which consisted of a small kitchen, dining room table and a sofa which had already converted to a double bed. There was a large TV on the wall. This led through to the large main bedroom. There was a large walk in wardrobe in this room before leading through to a large bathroom. This had a bath and separate shower. The whole apartment was presented in the highest quality and standards. Everything was considered. The lighting was good and nice fixtures throughout, right down to the smallest details (like the fine cut drinking glasses and bathroom toiletries). It's in a great location about 20 mins from the centre of Ljubljana and a similar time to the airport. There are supermarkets within a The breakfast was excellent and we were offered multiple options and courses. Much like the apartment the restaurant / breakfast area was of the highest quality / standards. The breakfast was very very nice. Everything we had was presented well and tasted great. The owners were polite and attentive, and could not be anymore helpful. This place was a real find and we would highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Planinka. The hotel was immaculately clean, with excellent attention to detail throughout. Its location, next to the church and the river, is beautiful, with stunning scenery all around. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel genuinely well looked after. I would most definitely recommend Hotel Planinka and would happily stay here again."
