"Loved it, the view of Lake Superior was incredible, we loved having table and chairs to enjoy our coffee in the morning. The suite was spacious. Recommendation would be to update family room furniture, It was great having a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave and Keurig coffee maker for full pot or minis . In / out hot tub was great, would be better if bigger. Beautiful pool and outdoor seating"
"Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!"
"Third party (like Expedia) still have pictures and list features of this hotel that have not been there since 2024. It advertises as a waterpark, despite not being such since 2024. Thankfully, it was still light out so we could see in our room through the windows, which did leak and we had to use towels from the bathroom to clean up. We were able to get extra towels. Our TV did not work until mid-day the next day.
One thing that was weird is that we were not given any body wash or a second piece of soap; we only had one piece of soap to use at the sink and in the shower.
I was...
"The room was as shown on line, very nice, clean plenty of towels. When we opened the door there was a heavy smell in the room. There was an ozone machine running. After some online looking, it said if there is an ozone machine running, leave the room, and no one should be in the room for two hours.
My husband went down to the desk, in the meantime I unplugged the ozone machine. A woman came up with my husband for the machine, assured me that they were not ozoning it but drying out the room....
