Thankfully the night of 15th Jan,2018 we had chosen to move far north outside Fairbanks towards Arctic Circle where the sky blessed us with being clear. With the weather and aurora forecasts changing overnight, its becoming hard to plan accordingly for catching them in full action these days. This winter’s trip began with two cloudy nights when it was supposed to be Active! Chasing the lights is like a drug and every time we try to think ‘enough is enough’, yet end up wondering, What lies more..?!! Gambling with the bone chilling weather and the aurora forecasts before every step to the Alaskan arctic has moved beyond the point ‘Ohh were we lucky?!’ .. This may not have been the extraordinary show for us, but definitely a fiery kickstart to 2018. Advice from the Northern Lights say: Show your true colors. Glow with excitement. Have a magnetic personality. Stay full of wonder. Lighten Up!! ☝️
