"Great location and close to ferries at Diakofti Port. Easy walk to Mina’s for a great brekkie and Manoli’s downstairs has beautiful lunch & dinner. The waters of Diakofti are simply amazing."

10/10 Excellent
"Avlemonas is heaven on earth! We stayed two nights and the Maryianni was the perfect place for some time out from our travels. Steps away from the water and delicious restaurants, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and inviting. We had our washing done by the housekeeping team while we were there which was very handy. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for an authentic Greek island experience"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Livadi?
The best area to stay in Livadi is the central Livadi Beach area, particularly around the main promenade.

This area is the heart of Livadi, offering direct access to the sea and a wide selection of dining and entertainment options. The promenade stretches along the beachfront, lined with tavernas, cafes, and shops. It's flat and very walkable, making it easy to stroll from one end to the other.

Couples often find this area great for a relaxing getaway. You're right on the beach, with many hotels offering sea views, and it's easy to enjoy evenings out without needing to travel far.
When is the best time to go to Livadi?
The best time to go to Livadi is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from late April to early June or from September to early October.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the island and enjoying the beaches without the peak summer crowds. You'll find most establishments open, and the atmosphere is relaxed, allowing for a more authentic experience.

For those who enjoy swimming and sunbathing, early June and September are particularly good. The sea has warmed up sufficiently, and the days are long and sunny. This is superb for couples looking for a relaxing escape with opportunities for gentle walks and enjoying meals outdoors.

If you're seeking the liveliest experience with all restaurants and bars operating at full capacity, July and August are the busiest months. However, be prepared for higher prices and more people.
