"The villa is very nice. The pool view is terrific and the porch seating is very pleasant. Kitchen is well enough stoked to feed a family with ample seating. One bathroom (small) was a bit of a challenge and the smallest room has no window, closet, etc. Location is good with good, local restaurants within walking distance, but the hike up/down the hill is steep(ish) if you don't rent a car. Upon booking we were not aware that the villa isn't truly private. There was an upper unit with a porch...

"Absolutely loved the Lighthouse Hotel. Perched on the top of a hill with a gorgeous sea view and a lovely seating area to enjoy the view. Just a few minutes drive from Faros Beach, which is a small village with gorgeous restaurants (we went to Angie’s and it was delicious). Anthony, one of the owners, couldn’t have been more helpful. He made great recommendations and helped us to book restaurants and bars to ensure we got a table. The breakfast was also lovely, Maria made lots of homemade delights, savoury & sweet. The hotel and surrounding area was spotless. Highly recommend this hotel. "
