"The property was dirty. Dog hairs on sofa dirty and sticky floors. Hob filty microwave plate grease air fryer rusty and dirty no stoppers for sinks. Bathroom sink outlet broken. When it was repaired it leaked. Reported it again got no reply. People entering the property without prior notice. Rooms very small. Also hidden cost hot tub. Over all property could do with a deep clean. "

"Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. "The cottage is warm, comfortable and has a view of Killeavy castle. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They had essentials waiting for us in the kitchen (tea,milk,bread,etc.) which were very much appreciated. Definitely need a car if you plan on staying here. Road noise may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper plus be very careful coming out of the driveway. The locals drive fast on this road."

"This cottage is in a great location, close to Newcastle, Castlewellan, Tullymore, Murlough and more. However the mattresses need replaced and are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The hottub is a nice feature but for anyone unfamiliar with this type of hottub, you cannot regulate the heat, and once it gets warm enough to get into it quickly gets too hot to be enjoyable. It takes away from the experience having to get out multiple times to add cold water. Also, unfortunately the listing is not...

"It was such a peaceful stay. The staff were really helpful. Our room was great, really spacious and the bed was comfy. We sat in the lounge and it was so relaxing watching the birds..such a wonderful place."
