A fantastic Lipari base

Great hotel near all the activities of Lipari, it was a fantastic base for our family holiday. Larger rooms for Italy which we enjoyed.

Il nostro soggiorno di tre notti a Villa Fiorentino è stato uno dei più piacevoli che possa ricordare: fin dall'arrivo il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e disponibile, oltre che estremamente rispettoso delle norme anti-Covid. Pur essendo arrivati in largo anticipo sull'orario del check in, ci è stata assegnata subito la stanza, e nella breve attesa ci è stato offerto qualcosa da bere. Il complesso è immerso nei colori delle bougainville e delle piante tipiche della vegetazione mediterranea, ed è collegato all'adiacente Grand Hotel Arciduca, con cui condivide la bellissima piscina. La nostra stanza, al piano superiore, aveva un bel terrazzino con tavolo e sedie, all'interno è presente un piccolo ma attrezzato angolo cottura, un altro tavolino con due sedie, un armadio con cassaforte, il climatizzatore e una tv (unico neo, solo 2 o 3 canali italiani visibili). Tutto era pulitissimo, compreso il bagno. Al check in ci è stato fatto compilare il modulo per l'autocertificazione, nel quale viene anche richiesto di registrarsi al sito Siciliasicura. Tutto il personale indossava correttamente le mascherine, ed è stato estremamente accogliente. La posizione è perfetta, a pochi minuti a piedi da Marina Corta e da corso Vittorio Emanuele. Insomma, peccato esserci rimasti così poco...

Villa Fiorentino

We stayed for four nights during our visit to the Aeolian Islands. The hotel is in s prime position for walking into the centre of Lipari. All the staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

Close to downtown and nice

My family and I (wife and two infants) have been traveling through Sicily, including stays in Salina and Lipari. The hotel had nice landscaping, with a beautiful pool. It is also located close to the main touristic streets in the downtown, and a 15-minute walk from the port (although the last part is uphill). One area of improvement: the rooms, they could use an upgrade to be as nice as the common areas. In order to have wifi, you have to turn on the TV, which was difficult since we were traveling with kids and we wanted the room to be dark for them to fall sleep. We had to decide between the glow of the TV or having internet. The breakfast was really good, with lot of pastries, coffee, eggs, sausage. It was very enjoyable with friendly staff. We also had lunch there one day since we were resting, but we felt it was a little pricey
