This is a lovely hotel on a hill overlooking the town and castle of Lipari. Our room was comfortable and we had an outdoor seating area with a gorgeous view. The available breakfast option was well worth the money.

Excellent accueil et séjour

Excellent accueil par le personnel. Ils sont très disponibles et bienveillants. Je recommande cet hôtel pour séjourner à Lipari. Ils vous proposent aussi le transport du port vers l’hôtel ce qui est très agréable lorsqu’on a de lourds bagages. En bref, très bon séjour et un personnel extrêmement gentil.

The Villa Diana is a little way up a hill, it has a wonderful view out to sea. It's an old fashioned and very charming guesthouse with lots of character. Not a modern property, but therein laid the charm. My room had a good sized bathroom.

Buon hotel con panorama mozzafiato

L'albergo è in posizione rialzata, appena fuori la Città di Lipari e questo consente di godere di una vista mozzafiato, ma solo dalle parti comuni. La nostra stanza aveva finestre sulla veranda esterna, piuttosto lontana dalle zone con vista panoramica. A parte questo il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e non solo per la bellezza delle Eolie.

Die Lage der Anlage etwas oberhalb von Lipari Stadt ist sicherlich das Highlight: Der Blick auf die Bucht und Altstadt ist spektakulär. Die Zimmer sind im guten Zustand, mit eigener Terrasse. Nur die Betten sind etwas unbequem, weil zu weich. Das(optionale) Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, die Marmelade selbst gemacht. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich. Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft, wir würden sie wieder buchen.

A quiet hotel off the beaten track above the town.

It proved a wonderful place to relax and reflect and a timely base for the range of activities and tours that the island offers. We shared our stay with other convivial guests, some of whom were regular visitors and were more than happy to share ideas and experiences.

One week in Albergo Villa Diana

All in all, it was a nice hotel. the view was great and the breakfast was good. Just it is located quite uphill without any elevator. so if you are old, pregnant or have a lot of stuff, I don't recommend this place. the air-conditioner is good and makes inside's weather pleasant. Bath room is quite big and nice. The internet is good outside (in the balcony) but not so good inside the room. Although the two gentlemen in the reception are nice, lady serves the breakfast doesn't behave so nicely (maybe because she doesn't know English). Another important thing is that the tap water is not drinkable (I am not sure about the other hotels in Lipari, maybe all are the same) and a bottle of mineral water is sold there (in the reception) for 1.5 Euro, while you can buy it from the supermarket for about 0.3 Euro, but it is hard to bring them up there!

Hotel delizioso

Non vicinissimo al centro (comunque 10, 15 minuti a piedi dal corso), tutte le camere danno su terrazze con panorami stupendi, di fronte ad ogni camera c'è un salottino (sdraie, tavolino) che ti da la possibilità, se sei in hotel, di non rimanere chiuso nella stanza. l'hotel è in un grande giardino pieno di fiori. Anche la colazione si fa in terrazza.

Un gioiello che non splende

Immerso nella natura ha un bellissimo panorama su Lipari. Le 2 donne addette alla colazione ed alle pulizie sono dedite al lavoro ed impeccabili in tutto. Ho molto apprezzato il fatto che mi abbiano permesso di lasciare i bagagli e fare una doccia oltre l'orario del check out. Purtroppo credo che in un hotel non basta. Gli infissi sono da rifare, finestre e persiane che hanno difficoltà nell'apertura e nella chiusura; inoltre il giardino con fiori e piante versa in un abbandono generale. Fiori e foglie dappertutto. Mi dispiace perché ha tutte le carte in regola per essere un ottimo hotel.

Local charm and fantastic view.

Above the town but a very reasonable distance for a short walk.(My preference is to be more local than tourist.) My first impression was not great due the natural condition of property. Inside it has so much charm, local hospitality and history. Owners and staff very helpful. A staff person makes the morning marmalade! and collected the freshest orange off the tree NOT one on the ground. All the property was very clean, bed comfortable and breakfast varied and satisfying.

A lovely family run hotel, with great views and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Especially Paolo who was exceptional with his helper Gatto Stinky. Would definitely return without any doubt. Can't recommend Villa Diana enough. 😃👍🏻👍🏻

Camere in villette deliziose,vista da togliere il

Siamo stati benissimo, verande con una vista sul mare delle Eolie indescrivibile! Come se fossimo stati in una nostra villa immersa nei fiori, al mare. Unico appunto: proprietari giovani e con poca esperienza anche se gentili e disponibili : da incoraggiare!
