Come on in to “Inselglück.”

Spend your holiday in this cosy, nautically decorated (non-smoking) holiday apartment, centrally located at the Old Town Hall, just a one-minute walk from the harbour promenade.

“Inselglück” is located on the 3rd floor, WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR.
The rooftop terrace was refurbished and renovated in September 2017.
The apartment is fully equipped with light-colored wood-look laminate flooring.
Enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of Lake Constance Secco on the rooftop terrace overlooking the harbour entrance.

All sights, restaurants, the beach, bakeries, butchers, cafés, wine bars, bars, shops, cultural and historical attractions, the train station, and the Lake Constance ferry terminal are in the immediate vicinity or “just around the corner.”

The kitchen is fully equipped, even for the passionate cook.
The bedroom is spacious, featuring a reading nook, a large closet, a 2m x 2m natural wood bed, and a mattress made of high-quality foam. The comforters are filled with fine down; upon request, we’re happy to provide allergy-friendly blankets.

You’ll find a reading nook for browsing books, a flat-screen TV (90 cm) with a DVD collection for film nights, a CD player with CDs, and a selection of games.

Our apartment is ideal for holidaymakers looking to unwind on the island, attendees of international conferences by the lake, or long-term guests.
TIP: Travel by train. You won’t need a car in Lindau or on Lake Constance. Everything is easily and conveniently accessible on foot, by bike, bus, train, and boat. Many of our guests have been doing this for years. The apartment is only about 300 metres from the Insel train station.

*ECHT BODENSEE CARD*

You’ll receive an Echt Bodensee Card for free use of public transport—including buses and trains—along the German shore of Lake Constance within the BODO transit system, as well as many discounts at museums and attractions.

*HYGIENE*

Our staff clean the apartment in accordance with health department guidelines, which means all surfaces are disinfected, and bed linens and towels are washed at 60°C.

If you book directly, payment must be made by credit card, and you’ll receive a confirmation of your reservation from us within 24 hours. We’ll also send you a lease agreement; however, the apartment is not firmly booked until we receive the signed lease agreement.

*BICYCLES:*

The building features secure, covered bike storage areas both indoors and outdoors. You’re welcome to bring your own bikes, but it’s much more convenient to rent bikes from the Unger bike shop just around the corner.

*ROOF TERRACE*

The spacious and beautiful roof terrace offers a fantastic view of the harbour entrance, the lake, the mountains, and the rooftops of Lindau. A rooftop terrace—called an “Altane” in Lindau—is something very special, and not every building has one. The spacious terrace (approx. 70 m²) is accessible via the stairwell and is located one floor above the apartment. This is the case in almost all buildings on the island of Lindau that have an Altane. Other apartments have access to the terrace, but they rarely use it. The furniture is reserved exclusively for our guests.

Included in the price: Final cleaning, electricity, heating, water, bed linens, towels, a fully equipped modern kitchen with ample dishes, glasses, silverware, spices, a Nespresso machine, a French press, and filter coffee, as well as a tea set and tea, a washing machine, a dishwasher, towels, Wi-Fi via DSL, cable TV, and more.

*PICKUP AT INSEL STATION*

If you would like to be picked up from the station upon your arrival, please send us an email with your travel details.

*SHOPPING:*

If there are specific groceries you’d like to have in the apartment upon your arrival, please send us your “shopping list” and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you. You can then reimburse us for the costs after you arrive.
